Q: I am 6 foot 4 and 282. Will this product do the job for me? It certainly looks like it will but looks can be deceiving. If it does what I need, groovy

well I am only 5'4" and 150 but my husband is 6' and 240 holds him fine and me fine I have it one the lowest setting and he has to adjust it some. But, it can be adjusted out even more. It is a great piece of equipment as I can not do regular sit ups because I have some back issues but this is a great way for me to get more benefits than the sit ups anyway. I love mine.

YES, THE BOX FOR THIS PRODUCT HAS A CANCER WARNING FOR CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65: "This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. I own this hyper extension bench and I took a picture of my box: https://i.postimg.cc/V6K5SJmv/20181222-173447-1.jpg. Further investigation revealed a sticker on back of the actual pad that states: "California 93120 compliant for formaldehyde phase 2 of the ATCM." This means that this hyper extension bench was manufactured with carcinogenic levels of this toxin, and it poses a significant danger to human health. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT HAD I KNOW THIS IN ADVANCE!

Q: Whats the max overall height when its set up for use?

I am a woman 5'6 tall...the pad at its lowest height is 30 inches high...if fully extended it would be about 36-38 inches
