This is a well made product with clear text and quality binding. No, Virginia there are no maps or Santa Clause in the back. The text is readable and the bible paper is thin but opaque. It has a nice little sleeve to protect the book, but you may want a separate canvas or other container for it. Not leather, but no pretense - just a good reading bible.

I was just looking for an upgrade to my paperback bible and boy did I get it right. Floppy, large print readable! It’s nice to touch unlike some fake leathers and it’s not too big to take in an old purse as a bible bag to church and studies. It’s holdable and readable and looks nice. 2 strings so you can save more than one place. The only thing is there’s no back of the Bible reference guide or anything. So I have to use my tiny print tiny Bible or my giant reference bible every time I want to look up something specifically by name ect..

This NIV Bible has a soft brown faux leather cover which lays flat when open. The large print is easy to read with a double column format and 11.5 font. The pages are thin and smooth and the edges are an elegant golden color. The words of Jesus are written in red. The Bible is not heavy so it is easy to hold and carry. There are 2 lovely thin ribbons attached with a satin feel to be used as book markers.

Really like this bible easy to read

This is not a classic large print Bible. The print is not what we old timers would call large print lol. The binding is sturdy and the cover is high-quality. The pages are durable. Overall, a very well constructed book

A couple of errors in the description. The size of the book is listed as larger than its actual size. See the attached pictures for actual measurements. Also the pictures is the description includes a picture of maps in the back. But there are no maps in the back. Neither of these are a problem for me. I didn't need the maps and wanted something smaller to place on a small podium when I am speaking. The print size is what I was looking for as I am in my 50s and using reading glasses these days. So the text size works well at a podium for me. The bible lays flat well and you can see all the text easily for reading even in the middle where the two pages come together. The cover of the book looks very nice and has a good feel for a leathersoft cover. However, at the spine of the book when you lay the book flat the cover bunches up at the spine, as if there is too much material - see the attached photo. This may cause some early wear of the cover. I knockoff one star for the spine issue. For people who want the maps and don't like the incorrect size, you should probably knock off another star, to make it a three star review. But those issues are not a problem for me, so I will keep it at 4 stars. Overall, like the bible, suits my purposes for something smaller, light, attractive and readable at a small podium. The only real negative for me is the excess material at the spine.

Everything about this bible hits the mark for me from the ease of reading the content, the font size, its price point and this cool cover! Although it is imitation leather I could not tell. I like how both covers are supple and conform to my fanning through the pages to find what I seek. An especially neat feature about the back cover is that while it has a leather feel, it is also textured to have a grippy feeling to it as well. Whether on my table or my lap, the bible does not slip all over the place. I can tell that a lot of thought went into its design, and I commend the company. Thank you so much for such a wonderful bible!

Easy to understand and texts are large.

I’m so glad I took the chance and got this. I can see the difference in the large text. Beautiful (faux) leather binding which feels so soft to touch. And a good sized book overall. Mum loves it. I’m very glad.
