R134a Air Conditioner Freon Ac A/C Manifold Gauges Set
It works fine and seems to be of sufficient quality for home mechanic. It does everything you need it to do, however, you have to know ahead of time because this product doesn't come with instructions, ask a friend or some body before you use it. I am an electrician. But, I have a friend who is mechanic and air conditioning to help me. The manifold gauge worked great. I pulled a vacuum on the gauges and it held for an hours I left it sitting. I bought all my own A/C tools this time rather than having the local shop to work on my truck, Be sure to buy a can tap as well. I will say the instructions weren't great but if you know what you're doing you'll be fine. I'd recommend these to anyone. I looked at all the models on Amazon and I'm glad that I bought this manifold.

The part description needs to add fitting # 82635 to use R134A
It is very good quality for low price, but the yellow hose didn’t fit the R134 can tap valve. I had to order fitting # 82635 around $6.00 to make it fit (it was waste of time). Besides that, I am happy my car is nice and cool now!!!

Lines Exploded!
Pro, cheap, worked for a few years.Cons, Hooked up to a car and the High pressure line exploded at 210psi, spraying my face and engine bay.I was in a pinch and needed to still use them and so i just hooked up the low side and after a few mins, i heard a "hiss" and saw it was also leaking at only 45psi.So apparently after 5-6 years these hoses "time out"

Paid For Itself The First Time I Used It
Functional, well-built and accurate. This was not what I expected when I ordered a unit that was made in China. The long hoses are nice, since I work on large trucks where the service ports are often hard to reach and/or far away. No needle "flutter," which is nice. This is a good piece for the novice mechanic, the professional who occasionally does A/C work, or for DIY types who want something that works well. I don't like blow-molded cases, but this unit comes in one. I threw the case away, because I had a place to hang my gauges.

loved the carrying case it comes with, works great, good for the price...didn't like the fact that the hose gave problems while trying to close the case, my open/close stickers fell out quite easily...nothing a little glue wont fix...have to buy the r134 bottle adapter separate since it does not come with this set

Quick Connect adapters leaked
Not happy with the the adapters that came with it. While the hoses and gauges performed OK, could never get the quick adapters to seal properly. Had to find some other adapters or hook hoses directly to an AC system to stop the leaks.

Manifold set works great and reasonable cost.
Great quality tool for the Bucks. Replaced the compressor on my Honda and was able to charge up the system with no trouble at all. Good quality and long hoses do make a difference. Why spend a whole lot more for the same tool when this one works great.
