Sidewinder Pro Plus

This is an outstanding piece of equipment that is durable, easy to use, and it delivers results! I have used it now for over two months and my wife must frequently ask me to back off the pressure when giving a back massage, so strong has my grip become. My son is also using it and we both have had obvious size gains in our forearms leading to a miniature arms race! I suspect that this piece of equipment will be in service for some time to come, so well built is it. I would recommend this to any athlete, but it is also totally applicable to every human pursuit whether a chef in need of stronger can opening abilities, to a housewife needing to increase grip strength for daily activities. Everybody can use this device irrespective of previous exercise history and because of the adjustable tension, the beginner can work their way up to higher resistance as strength gradually builds.

I discovered this from a friend of mine while on a overseas deployment. It's a great thing to have around when you can't always get to the gym, or if you just want short intense forearm workouts throughout the day. A benefit I've noticed to using this for forearm strengthening instead of the weight on a rope roll up method is the reduced strain on your back. This can be significant for those of you with back issues. I have certainly noticed increased forearm strength and muscle definition as well as increased vascularity. The product is obviously very well made out of quality materials. It seems relatively indestructible. I chose to get the medium size one and I can still barely turn it on it's highest setting despite being a relatively strong/in shape person. I wouldn't get the large one unless you have large hands. For average size male hands this one is perfect. The product website has a lot of different variations of workouts that can be useful. Make sure you turn the dial all the way loose after use as leaving it tightened has been known to cause issues. Shipping was to overseas APO and still got here for free and pretty quickly. Enjoy!

Very smooth action, variable adjustable tension and NOT spring loaded like so many others, so you get a FULL workout, moving the handles in BOTH directions, which is a HUGE benefit. All of that adds up to making this a FAR SUPERIOR exerciser than ALL the other brands out there. If possible, I would give it 5+ stars.

Great build quality and finish, east to use and gives a great arm pump in a very short space of time. Very portable, can be used with little or no set up, takes up no storage or floor space in the home gym……… have even used it while sat watching TV.

I read the other reviews and I thought people were exaggerating about this machine. They aren't! It really does work and it works fast. I'm getting older and I'm finding that I'm not as strong as I use to be. So I got this to improve my grip and strengthen my wrists and it did just that. In less than two weeks it has done much more for me than other grip devices I've used in twice the amount of time. I was surprised on the exercise variations. Basically, anyway you can grip this, with both hands, becomes an exercise position and there are a lot of ways to grip it. Maybe its because squeezing and twisting will build strength more effectively than just squeezing, or maybe its forcing me to use muscles in a way I haven't used them before, or maybe its something else. I don't really know. But I do know it works. I now have a stronger, more powerful grip and my forearms have become rock solid. It may seem expensive. But if you are looking for something designed to dramatically improve your grip, then it is money well spent.

My son recommended the Sidewinder to me. I have been very happy with it. It could use a few upgrades such as a numerical scale, but I can do that on my own with a black marker. Gives my forearms a good work out.

I have tried many forearm strengthening units over the years with ok results. This little, but, mighty unit will get your forearms to burn like no other. I hesitated about the price, but, I was sold the first time I used it. I have been using for a few weeks now and am shocked to see that I greatly increased strength in grip, and forearm strength. Also, for the first time in a long time have noticed growth in forearm size. I highly recommend.

The Sidewinder does what it says it will do. I've been using this product for about 3 weeks to develop forearm strength for my golf game and it has worked incredibly! Not only is it easy to use, the resistance bar really works and it's safe for my back. No lower back strain like I used to get using the rope hooked to a dumbbell routine. (I've had four back operations and am lucky to still be able to golf at the age of 54.) I have to say this product was well worth the money! I mean, I really am stronger and of course the extra confidence I have is fantastic. Just don't overdo it, take at least a day off, maybe two, to let your muscles recuperate.
