So far this transmitter is working better than expected in our 2008 Honda Element with original radio. Happy to cut the AUX cord finally. It auto connects to the phone and disconnects when exiting the car. Overall, pleasantly surprised at sound quality and ease of use/setup. Usage is mainly in a busy city with heaps of potential interference but it works great!

I was a bit skeptical at first, but this works perfectly for me every time. Clear audio an no disconnects. The trick is to find the right unused radio channel in your area.

This little device is well worth the money. Easy to install, Bluetooth connected up easily. If your car is so old that it has an analog radio knob to find a channel, it might be a bit of a challenge, especially if the radio dial is cluttered with lots of stations, like in a big city. The sound quality is as good as your speaker system is. I am getting a bit of static during dead air moments, but it is not bad once the music starts playing. The only real downside I've noticed so far is that the USB port on the top doesn't seem to have enough voltage to keep my cell phone charged. Lucky for me, I have 2 cigarette lighter ports. If you only have one, you're probably going to have to get one of those little doodads that double up on the cig lighter ports. All in all, I'm loving it. It's so nice to be able to access my music library in the car. I'm an Uber driver, so I'm in the car 10 hours a day. I was really getting tired of radio only! I wish I could figure out how to block the notifications from my Uber app through to the speakers. It comes out a lot louder than whatever music is playing, and I don't like to listen to it or subject my riders to it. If I can figure this out, it'll be awesome!

Design The device is lightweight and made of plastic. It feels solid enough, but definitely on the lighter side. The front display is easy to read when plugged into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter adapter. The knob on the telephone button rotates easily too. The only thing that may be an issue for some people is the recharging USB ports, whether QC 3.0 or the PD USB-C, is it is on the bottom or underside of the device. See the product photos and make sure this one be an issue for you. Setup Once plugged in the device boots up within a second or to. The small display states “bt” and you know you can now pair your device. It was very easy to do on my iPhone XS. Simply went to settings, then Bluetooth, and then connected to “NX12”. Done and it was paired. To find an FM station, it was easy to change the frequency. Simply press the “channel” button on the front, rotate the knob with the telephone symbol on it to the frequency, press “channel” again and done. Tip: If you rarely or never use the FM radio anymore, consider removing the exterior antenna on your vehicle. Mine was easy to remove by counterclockwise unscrewing the base of the antenna from the hood of my vehicle. Consult with your owner’s manual first though or go on YouTube to see how to remove your antenna. By doing so it really limits outside radio stations from interfering with your Nulaxy FM transmitter. Sound Quality The music and audio books played were crystal clear. No issues what so ever. I kept my volume at about 85% on my iPhone and made sure the equalizers were set to natural or neutral. I adjusted the volume on the stereo as well as the equalizer. USB-A and C charging The USB charging ports, as mentioned earlier, are on the bottom or “underside” of the device. It will not be as easy to plug cable in if you cannot focus completely on the device. My outlet is below the stereo so I plug in the device horizontally. I have to reach underneath to plug in a charging cable or remove the device entirely. This is probably the only downside. To overcome this simply keep a cable plugged in at all times gets around this issue. I imagine this will vary by vehicle and user. It is not a deal breaker for me though. Having QC 3.0 and a USB-C PD is awesome and worth it. Conclusion I would recommend getting this device if you are 1) needing a compact Bluetooth FM transmitter, 2) need QC 3.0 capabilities and/or 3) need a USB-C PD charging port for your device. Since you are already looking at this review I suspect you already need a FM transmitter. In that case give the Nulaxy Bluetooth FM Transmitter a go. The features are great, easy to use, and the cost is reasonable.

I bought this to replace my NX09 as I needed the faster charger in this one for my new phone and the NX09 worked so well for a few years that I figured I'd upgrade. It works well, however I don't think the sound quality is as good as the NX09. This one adds a ton of bass that the NX09 didn't have, but it sacrifices some sound quality to do so. The sound isn't as clear and I have to turn my volume up much louder with this one. I'd honestly go back to the NX09 for the better sound if the charger wasn't way too slow for my newer phone. If you didn't have the NX09 first, then it's probably not an issue, but if you did then just FYI. Update: Seven months later and it won't connect to my phone at all for the second time in the past couple of months. The first time I unpaired it from my phone completely and paired it again and it worked, but now it's doing the same thing and unpairing it and trying again isn't working. I've also decided I'm really not happy with the overall sound quality compared to the previous version I had. Will be shopping for a new one from a different brand this time.

This item is working wonderfully in an older car with an older audio system to access any music or programming from your phone app. The sound is better. The setup was easy. The only drawback is that this is not an ideal hands off system while driving as you have to control any station changes by looking at your phone and doing it. I have yet to try the phone answering part of this device.

Wow! What a great little gadget! I have a 26 year old truck with an old original radio. I wanted to stream my old music from my phone and was stressed about adding a new stereo and spoiling my totally original truck. This little small sized device did the trick and for just twenty bucks! It is easy to pair, there is no static noise. The small size makes it easy to fit and the usb port makes charging simple

I do not write reviews very often but this one deserves it. It is amazing. I found this by chance, just checking around. I have an old car that only has radio and the AUX does not work. This worked perfectly during my roadtrip, using the Bluetooth for Spotify. I had to change the FM 1 or 2 times when travelling to a different city, which was very easy. Also, you can charge your phone with Superfast Charging and this device is small and practical. Overall, GREAT.

Fantastic. Well packaged. Well built. Came with simple (English) instructions. Set up was super simple. Connectivity appears excellent and the sound quality on par with fm radio stations. Bonus two charging ports on the underside which suited my setup. Overall very impressed with the quality and performance of this product, in a compact size.

IMPORTANTE: La qualità dell'audio è davvero molto buona, direi anche ottima, è però importante trovare una frequenza libera da altre trasmissioni, altrimenti la qualità diminuisce e si creano fastidiose interferenze. Se questa condizione è soddisfatta, la qualità dell'audio è ottima. Altro punto a favore, è molto più piccolo di quel che sembra e si inserisce bene. Il bluetooth in oltre si collega in un attimo e se semplicemente tenete quello del vostro telefono attivo, si connetterá in automatico appena accesa la macchina. Unica pecca (probabilmente dovuta alla mia vettura) spegnendo la macchina durante l'utilizzo del trasmettitore, si spegne prima il trasmettitore e un istante dopo la radio, quindi la radio fa come se cambiasse canale su un canale con volume altissimo, facendomi ca**re addosso ogni volta. Per il prezzo è un must have
