Use for Polymer Clay & Resin Jewelry
This UV lamp is perfect!! I didn’t purchase for doing my nails. I needed it for curing UV resin, making polymer clay & resin jewelry. I will use it for my nails, as well & I’m sure that, it will work perfectly, Bc of how well it works curing UV resin jewelry!! This is the 3rd lamp I have purchased, (different brands) trying to find a nail lamp that, works, to actually cure UV resin & I had NO luck with the other 2!! The 1st, 2, were also 36watt but did NOT cure my resin!! If this melodysusie UV nail lamp didn’t work, I was giving up!! It has been so frustrating with the other 2 & ruined some of my polymer clay pieces!!! I read the good & bad reviews about the melodysusie & after using it, considering how well it works, I don’t understand the bad reviews!! It has to be user error!!This melodysusie nail lamp cures UV resin, with NO sticky/tackiness...it has a large curing area, with slide out tray, with 4 UV lighting tubes bulbs. Also, I love this part...it has 3 settting timer, 120 sec, 180 sec &&&& a 30 MINUTE!! That is very important if using to cure UV resin! You don’t have to sit beside it to keep hitting the start button...you can set it on the 30 minute & your UV resin is done!! It only takes a few minutes for it to cure but I leave some of my pieces for the full 30 minutes, to ensure they’re cured properly. It also comes with a 6month warrantyYou can’t go wrong with this lamp!! && for the price you can’t beat it!!Again, I will say, if this lamp doesn’t work for you, it is user error!!!! No reason what so ever this lamp shouldn’t work for you!!Also, I taped a piece of aluminum foil over the front opening. I read or watched a tutorial saying by doing this the reflection helps with curing

Working room inside much smaller than I expected
The lamp itself works as expected and a replacement unit included is great. It is a heavy, compared to other nail lamps I have used. A person with larger hands will not be able to spread their fingers out much at all. If using the lamp for UV resin, it works great. The longer timer settings are well suited for this. On the other hand, You can only fit small pieces into it. Figuring out how to turn the unit on and off took a minute to figure out. The timer settings took a longer to figure out. The operational instructions were so tiny I had to have a magnifying glass to see well enough to read them, and then they were confusing. Maybe I was having a day long brain fog. With some trial and error, I figured out how to turn the lamp on and off and set the timer. Overall, the lamp fits my needs but I'm not overly impressed. When it is time for a new lamp, I will look for something else.

Cures quickly
I use this uv lamp for curing uv resin on my polymer clay earrings. I was using a smaller led uv light for months, and would have to sit and babysit the lamp because it would only cure for 99 seconds at a time and the leds were not as efficient in quick curing as this lamp is. It has been a game changer and I am able to crank out earrings much quicker and more efficient now. Would recommend for anyone thinking of upgrading from a cheap led uv lamp!

It was great when it worked
The first time I used this lamp I had issues getting it to light up. Just as I was giving up on it, the lights finally came on. I’m not sure if the banging or multiple times flipping the switch is what finally worked. It did work fine for about the hour that I used it.Fast forward to today, only the second time trying to use it, and the bulbs won’t turn on at all. No amount of switch flipping, messing with the bulbs, or banging the unit is working. My regret is that I waited so long to use it and assumed it would work the next time I needed it. I wish I would have returned it. I would NOT purchase again.

Good so far!
This has enough wattage to properly cure gel! I used this lamp for the first time today and it dried well. make sure you buff your nails before the base coat AND rub your nails with alcohol as the very last step. it is big enough for my whole hand and my foot, I do have small feet though. This lamp is on the bigger side and I wish it was slightly smaller for storage reasons but oh well. It did come with an extra bulb and it looks like it will be fairly easy to replace the bulbs when they go out. I also wish it had an automatic sensor timer instead of having to push the button for the light to turn on. If you are like me and want to save money and start doing your nails from home, this lamp is perfect. The smaller lamps may not have a strong enough light to properly cure (dry) your nails! I will update my review if I change my mind.
