Mostly Pro with only ONE Con
As a Texas homeowner with a backyard pond, I've struggled to control the mosquito problem on my property during the hot, humid summers. I was skeptical that anything could truly eliminate these relentless bloodsuckers, but Mosquito Dunks proved me wrong. I was amazed at how quickly Mosquito Dunks eliminated the mosquito larvae in my backyard pond. Within days, I noticed a huge reduction in the number of adult mosquitoes buzzing around. No more annoying bites while gardening or barbecuing! The dunks provide month-long mosquito control, so I only need to reapply occasionally. They don't harm my pond's ecosystem, so my fish and frogs are safe. And they cost a fraction of what I used to spend on citronella candles and bug zappers. Here is my list of pros and one con:Pros:- Extremely effective at killing mosquito larvae- Prevents new generations of mosquitoes from maturing- Long-lasting - one dunk treats pond for 30+ days- Safe for pets, plants, fish, and wildlife- Easy to use - just toss in water- Affordable and budget-friendlyCons:- Doesn't kill adult mosquitoes, only larvaeFor any homeowner battling a mosquito problem near standing water, I can't recommend Mosquito Dunks enough. It's a simple, safe, and effective solution. Just toss a dunk into your pond or fountain once a month and say goodbye to those bothersome bugs. I'm so glad I discovered this secret weapon - my family can finally enjoy mosquito-free time outdoors again! Hope this review helped!

Easy to use
I’ve been using them in my backyard and they’ve made a noticeable difference. The mosquitoes have significantly decreased, which means we can enjoy being outside without constantly swatting them away. What I love most about Mosquito Dunks is how easy they are to use. Just drop them in standing water, and they start working almost immediately. They’re also safe for pets, wildlife, and plants, which gives me peace of mind. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they need to be replaced every 30 days to maintain their effectiveness, which can add up over time. Additionally, they might take a few days to fully kick in, so patience is key.Overall, Mosquito Dunks are a reliable and environmentally friendly way to keep mosquitoes under control. If you’re looking for a safe and easy solution, these are definitely worth trying.

So glad I found these
Purchased for the first time in spring 2024 and I cannot stress enough how well these work. Kept them in constant rotation in the bird bath by breaking them into fourths and throwing in a couple at a time until they dissolved--ne'er a mosquito larvae until I forgot to add the new quarters one month. Oops. Also had a fungus fly problem in the houseplants. Crushed up a couple rings and sprinkled it on the soil in every pot. The flies were gone in about a month and some change, so takes a while but absolutely worth it knowing larvae are being obliterated every time I water.

Goodnight, Bloodsuckers
These little donut-looking death discs are everything. Dropped one in my yard’s stagnant birdbath and suddenly it was like a mosquito murder mystery—except there was no mystery. Just sweet, silent justice. Before these? I was the buffet. Every summer evening felt like an all-you-can-bite dinner party hosted on my ankles. After? Total silence. Not a single tiny vampire in sight. The mosquitoes must’ve seen the dunk and held a tiny funeral.Bonus: they look like cereal, so it keeps your nosy neighbors confused and concerned.Highly effective. Completely satisfying. 10/10 would commit biological warfare against mosquitoes again.

Not that Great
The concept and execution are great. The problem is surface area. There's simply too much area around any house for mosquitos to lay eggs. That means, this stuff won't make a noticeable difference. They're probably effective near a five gallon bucket, but no more.
