I have had many clear window feeders in my day and this is by far the most substantial and well designed of all and it also came extremely well packaged. I have purchased three of them.

The price of this feeder was very fair!! The quality was very good! Infact, I’m quite confident in saying it’s the best I have purchased so far! The plexiglass/plastic is nice and thick! Not only is this a quality feeder it also came with 4 extra suction cups!! AND, the suction cups are LARGE!! Finally!! It was a little tricky lining up the suction cups and hooks to the holes on the feeder but once I got it, it was great! I know I’m going to like this feeder!I cannot speak for it being unbreakable. I have not yet experienced that yet. The pudgy squirrels knock off the other feeders. Though we have done our best to deter them we have a tree in our front yard that the squirrels jump quite a distance from onto the roof. The have figured out they can hang on the the gutters, grab on to the soffets and utilize the tiny holes with their claws and then they hang and jump for the feeders at our picture window on the second level!! (GRRRR) I have to replace 2 out of 4 feeders every year so it seems because of them boogers! It would be nice if we didn’t have this new one break on us. I would buy another 3 without thought! If I’m able to come back and leave an update after a period of time with my experience of a fall with this one, I will do so! I will also update with any other good things I find about it as well! My wild birds seem very happy! I also love that this is such a big feeder that can take a good amount of food in it. I have to fill all 4 of my feeders daily because we have that many birds that constantly come. Kudos to this company that made such a great quality feeder! You can tell they put a lot of effort into the design and quality. The LARGE suction cups were also a great touch!! 👏

Well, here's the thing...We love this feeder, but the birds don't seem to!We have now had it up on our window, maybe 6-7 feet from where plenty of birds congregate and gnosh under a nice tree, but bareky any activity at the feeder. We'be had one very disappointed hummingbird, and two other birds who came close (windowsill) but never went on up to the feeder. (We also had a resident squirrel try to get in it, but he couldn't keep a grip on the buiding side to get in it.)It will be three weeks tomorrow that we've had it up. We have a nice seed mix for area birds. It has taken two pretty harsh storms and done fine. (Well, a huge thunder made it rattle against our window and scared ME a little!) We've dumped and cleaned it twice, made a seed "path" from the tree to the feeder, but still no birdies are enjoying the buffet.The feeder itself is very sturdy, a little heavy and nicely designed. When I saw the suction cups, I really didn't think it would hold the feeder well, especially with seeds in it. But, we followed the cleaning directions, dampened the suction cups, and have had no problems, even in the July heat.So, we'll just keep on putting out fresh seed and hope someone gets brave enough to try it out.

Great feeder! It arrived on time and in perfect condition. The feeder itself came wrapped in plastic film and within it's own box, which was packed into another box with packing material. It was a very secure ship with no damage to either boxes. The item itself was heavier than I expected, and very well constructed and designed. The body of this feeder is ALL ONE PIECE, ... as I can't find a seam. It appears to have been rolled into shape and then the bending points are polished to a crystal clear finish. The side panels have seams, which are evident, but again polished to a clear finish, ... and I mean clear.The enclosed 3 "suction cups", which measure 2 inches in diameter, have a 1/2 inch depth so there is more than enough "suction" when installed upon "any glass surface" following the instructions (and coming email 'tips' sent via email from the maker). The cups themselves have a very secure attached 'hook', (1/2 inch deep) to which the feeder itself sits within. I have 5 cats, ... and it's my firm belief that I could take any one of them, place them on top of this feeder, ... and it won't fall off the window, at least my window. I don't suggest that ever be done, as "don't try this at home", ... so try a very large book instead. Will hold any combo of birds and seed. But as any "suction cup" type feeder, one really needs to pay attention, and check them every now and then.The size of this feeder is great, large enough for Blue-Jays (2), ... or 5 to 6 Chickadees or Titmouse, ... yet small enough in size to attach to a apartment small window with all of the benefits of viewing the birds. This is a SOLID feeder, very well constructed. It's not ones dime store bargain where the material thickness will crack during temperature fluctuations, ... this thickness measures a hefty 3/16th's of an inch!I'm using a "bulk" seed mix, (multi-blend with cracked corn) and my feeder has been up for less than 36 hours. So far, a few Sparrows have jumped on it, as I have other feeders in the area. Have purchased a "window film" as a "one way view", ... that is a 45% tint. Have yet to install that, ... so I'll repost when all is in place. So far, I'll give a grade of 95%, ... just wish there was a drainage option for rain, ... but I'm working on that and will inform with my follow-up review.
