This is one of the characters from the 1st cycle, which is out of print. Often on sale, but worth snagging while you can. Some characters should be re-released in a different form, but it’s very unlikely she would be included in that. Don’t quote me on it, but there is a belief that hard to find favorites like Captain America, Dr. Strange or Hulk might come back in a new form, for different reasons, but there is no announcement at this time. In Black Widow, you have a quality justice aspect character and a few bonus cards for strength, justice, protection, even a few basic cards that feature Black Widow art, which could easily be added or swapped in. She is fun, not overpowered, broken, or hard to find, yet. If you’re on the fence, don’t be.

Shes one of my favorite heros in my collection. The preparation card are great and dealing lots of damage to the enemy while defending feels awesome.

Great for manipulating enemy deck.

Black Widow comes flying into the Marvel Champions card game! After the last sort of lackluster Thor pack will this one be a hit or a miss? Thankfully this one is a hit! Black Widow is really fun to play. Her special ability is she sets up preparation cards. They sit out their till a game condition triggers them. Like if an enemy enters play it takes 2 damage from one of them. After the prep card activates it gets discarded. But no worries, she's got several tricks to get them back. Her base deck is paired with the justice aspect and it seems to fit her well. Only card in the pack that seemed like a dude to me was the ally card earthquake. She theoretically is god. She can damage a minion when they scheme. But I find it underwhelming at best. So let's break down how this pack does in three categories. SOLO PLAY: 4 of 5 stars. Natasha is a little on the squishy side (9 health). So she has to be managed how many undefended attacks she can take. But still she seems to be able to hold her own solo with all her different tricks with her prep cards. CO-OP Play: 4 of 5 stars. She also does well in co-op as some of her prep cards trigger for other players. And she holds her own well too. You won't have to worry she's getting wiped out if someone else is playing her. BUY FIRST? Yes I will recommend this as a buy first. Deck is nice for solo and co-op and she's just a lot of fun to play too! So after the sub par last pack, Black Widow does a nice job redeeming the heroes. Highly recommend this one. Next pack will be Dr. Strange. How will he do in this amazing game? We shall see.....

Unlike all of the other packs I have purchased, this one was extremely damaged when it came that even the cards were exposed. Regardless, not a bad addition if It's in good condition.

After playing several games with Black Widow, I think that she's a very interesting character. She specializes in removing threat and keeping the enemies from major boosts to their attacks and schemes. I think that she is tailor-made for Justice, but Leadership would work well with her as well. She has Winter Soldier as her natural ally, and depending on how many preparation cards she has out, it decreases his cost(4 cost) by 1 for each one out there. So if you're packing at least 4 preparation cards in play, you can play him for free. I think she's good, but to play something like aggression with her, you'll have to get creative. I think she pairs well with someone who specializes in Aggression, as she can keep the villain from getting out of control and you can have the other hero wailing on the villain.

The Black Widow Hero Pack includes a pre-built deck for Black Widow. Add a different dimension to the game. The preparation mechanic is very exciting. Great addition to Marvel Champions. Definitely one of the best hero packs released by FFG so far.
