Very high quality.
This is a replacement. Huron tools are designed for the task. High precision and no need to up cut with file. The cut is clean and precise. High quality construction too. I'm very happy with the performance.

-It does a real nice job of cutting model railroad track.
This is a very nice cutter for model railroad track but it will get a notch in the blades if you try to cut hardened screws.

a nipper worth twice its weight in gold
this is a great product much better then the tamiya baby nippers you get with there starter kit and even Excel Spruce Cutter 4-1/2 inch both of which i used and both broke because of how the nipper spring which is about as thick as a paperclip and looks like its made of one. the spring on this flush cutter is a small side lever witch will only brake if you pull it out or something gets wedged between it. its also has a very sharp edge and cuts very cleanly. the edge is also very durable since i have built 6 master grade gunpla (fazz, proto wing gundam zero ew; Gundam Fenice Rinascita, and Hyaku-Shiki+Ballute, gundam 00 Riser, Over Flag) and 5 high grade units (Elf Bullock,Crossbone Gundam Maoh, G-Self with Assault Pack(this things box is the same size as a master grade), Lightning Gundam,Kampfer Amazing.) 4 build parts (lighting back weapons system 1 and 2, red warrior weapons pack, amazing weapons binder) and 2 half finished Master grade units (jesta and crossbone gundam full cloth.) without the need to sharpen it were the Tamiya i had to sharpen after each Master grade i built. all in all this cutter is the best you can get and its not even the best cutter you can buy from them.

Das Gleis lässt sich sehr einfach auf die gewünschte Länge kürzen kürzen. Man sollte die Schnittkanten mit einer kleinen Feile entgraten.
