Braun Silk Epil 5/5185 Epilator

This is my first epilator and I'm absolutely in love with it. I researched a lot about this product online before I bought this product, and it was all worth the effort. It's a perfect product for beginners, so easy to use. I read a lot of reviews where people had written that the process of epilating is extremely painful, but I found it to be less painful than waxing. Maybe it was because of the massage rollers attached to the epilator. It's an excellent product that comes with a small pouch that can used for travelling. A great feature is the inbuilt light which makes it very easy to remove all the hair. And the best part is that you don't need to prep urself up before epilating and no mess post it. Only drawback would be that it doesn't come with an inbuilt battery, has to plugged in all the time for usage. But then the cord is long enough so it doesn't force you to sit right next to the plug point. I don't think I'll have to take the pain of going to the parlour for waxing ever again. It's a must buy. 👍

Its an review by a first time user. Never used an epilator before and this product is just amazing.. Used it within few hours of receiving the product.. and Waited a few days to write a review to just be sure that the hair were pulled out of the roots (as suggested) or just trimmed.. Well.. they well all pulled out.. and trust me.. there a HUGE FUSS out there that epilators give a hell lot of a pain.. NO THEY DONT.It's a solid product and looks much better in real life than in the photograph (it's not as delicate or flimsy as it looks in the picture). The only issue I had was that the cord attachment connection with the epilator was loose; it fit but came out easily. I'm sure that this is the only drawback with this model from Braun and its a general problem. This issue is with the design of the cord and the socket of the Braun Epilator. The cord refuses to stay attached and keeps falling out... In other words, you may have to use one hand to ensure that the cord is attached to the socket while the other is epilating or fix some piece of paper to the point of attachment to make it tight temporarily. All in all an excellent and classy product which worth every penny you pay for this. I paid only Rs3281.40...:)

I ordered this product after a month of research n finally decided to take this. First of all,Amazon was the only one which provided it within 4k. The product Was delivered within 3days. Now coming to the epilator, Pros 1.well its packaging is quite good. It has all the items as described. 2.The epilator is quite handy n looks too good. 3. The heads provided are easy to fix n remove. 4. The cord is quite long. 5. The ice pack is really very helpful for first time users. 6. Epilation is not that painful , it feels like fast ant pricks. But of course it may depend on person n skin type. 7. The light is really very helpful in seeing the tiny hairs. 8. The shaver n trimmer head is too good for use. 9. Can be cleaned easily Cons 1. The speed switch is little tricky..I mean it cannot be easily switched. 2.there is no sensitive cap with this model. Overall a very good product...

packaging was really good ,but delivery took a lot of time.now about the product ,the epilator makes a lot of noise and is not that painful,having a sensitive skin the hair that grows back is very hard and if i go for waxing ,the hair does'nt come ..epilator is good otherwise takes a lot of time for epilation but worth a buy.

Best product..I have been using it for quite a while...Its good...Its fast and easy and does not harm your skin like other epilators... I love this product and Its good for emergency..It is exactly like waxing..it removes hair from the root...the only difference is it does not remove dead skin..but you can use other products for that ...People say its painful..but if you can take pain of waxing...believe me u can bare its pain..Its definitely less painful than the hot wax you put on u skin for waxing..Also there is myth that your growth will increase or you will get thick hair or something like that..But how come thats possible if its removing hair from roots??..Same like waxing...SO GO FOR IT !!! DONT THINK TOO MUCH!! ITS DEFINATELY WORTH MONEY!!

I bought it years ago, and it’s still working perfectly. It has also helped reduce hair growth over time. I used and highly recommend it

I had an epilator of older model of the same company. it works perfectly for more then 5 years but after some time it didnt extract hair as some parts of attachment became loose. This one has the same body and actually it is the same epilator but with extra attachments - for shaving. I could have saved money by buying only attachment but now my husband have a shaver and I use an epilator. shaver is very secure so you wouldnt damage your skin The quality of product is nice and it is long lasting and reliable .

I purchased this product 7 months ago it is covered within the warantee period of two years but somehow it is not working properly but when i consulted to the service centre of Ahmedabad they told me i have to spend money for getting it repair as i have purchased from online though it is covered within warantee period and reason of not giving any after sales services is that they are not getting any money from online so please do not blindly believe in this 2 year warantee product , quality is also not satisfactory so kindly do take a note before purchasing this product.

Premetto che ho la pelle molto sensibile. Ho acquistato il modello “Braun Silk-Épil 5 Power 5-329 Epilatore con 3 Accessori, Compresa una Spazzola per la Pulizia del Viso”. L’imballaggio era perfetto ed i tempi di consegna sono stati rispettati. L’apparecchio è molto carino anche esteticamente. Nella confezione ci sono: - Pulitore per il viso (con pile incluse); - Guanto refrigerante; - Spazzolina per pulire l’epilatore; - Cavo da attaccare alla presa della corrente; - Epilatore. Il modello non è quello funzionante sotto la doccia, funziona solo con l’ausilio della corrente elettrica. L’epilatore ha due velocità e una luce che permette visibilità anche dei peli più sottili e chiari; è dotato di 40 pinzette. Può irritare le pelli più sensibili, ma dopo qualche ora e l’utilizzo del guanto refrigerante oppure di una crema lenitiva, l’irritazione passa, lasciando la pelle liscia. È davvero comodo e pratico, ovviamente per chi non è abituato alla depilazione con silk-épil ci vorrà un po’ per abituarsi. Personalmente lo trovo un ottimo prodotto, alternativa più che valida alla lametta (che fa ricrescere i peli in men che non si dica) o alla ceretta che può particolarmente irritare le pelli sensibili come la mia. Unica pecca è che tende a surriscaldarsi e quindi bisogna prendersi delle piccole pause tra una depilazione e l’altra per permetterne il raffreddamento.

J'avais un vieil épilateur Braun électrique depuis de nombreuses années. J'ai essayé ce produit chez une amie et j'ai été conquise. Il est très bien avec sa lumière, et ses 40 pincettes! J'adore : il enlève les plus petits poils, il est rapide et petit. Je dois cependant mettre l'adaptateur noir fournis sur le câble blanc dans la prise électrique sinon ça ne rentre pas dans la prise. Bel achat pour le rapport qualité/prix.

Für mich ist das Epilieren eine tolle Methode zur Haarentfernung an den Beinen. Mir macht der Zupfschmerz" nichts aus, empfinde es als nur stärkeres Kribbeln. Nach der Epilation hat man ein paar Wochen eine Ruhe. Im Vergleich dazu hat man beim Rasieren zwar ein superglattes Ergebnis, aber am nächsten Tag kommen die kratzenden Stoppeln, das finde ich ganz fürchterlich, und man muss alle paar Tage die Rasur wiederholen. Also Rasieren ist für mich persönlich ein no go". Ich epiliere meine Beine seit über 15 Jahren. Begonnen habe ich damals mit einem Gerät von Rowenta. Vor ca. 10 Jahren habe ich dann in einen Braun-Epilierer investiert, und da waren schon Welten dazwischen zu meinem Vorgänger-Gerät. Das alte Braun-Gerät funktioniert zwar noch immer einwandfrei, aber ich hatte Lust einen Epilierer der neuen Generation anzuschaffen um herauszufinden, ob die neuen Dinger wesentlich besser sind. (Die 100Tage-Geldzurückgarantie von Braun bietet sich dafür an) Der Braun Silk épil 5 bekommt von mir die Note sehr gut. Schönes Design, liegt gut in der Hand, das Ergebnis ist bei weitem besser als bei meinem bisherigen Braun Silk épil supersoft. Den Unterschied macht hier sicher die größere Anzahl an Pinzetten aus, die letztendlich auch feinste Härchen erwischen. Bisher habe ich beim Epilieren mehrmals über eine Stelle drüber gehen müssen, um alles gut zu entfernen. Das geht jetzt definitiv schneller (vor allem mit dem mitgelieferten zweiten Epilieraufsatz für effizienteres Epilieren)! Der Kühlhandschuh ist auch ganz fein und bringt auf jeden Fall Erleichterung wenn man schmerzempfindlich ist. Ich werde ihn für das Epilieren wahrscheinlich nicht so oft verwenden. Aber ich glaube der Kühlhandschuh wird mir sicher gute Dienste leisten an heißen Sommertagen, wo sich die geschwollenen Beinchen am Abend ein bisschen nach einer Wohltat sehnen :-) Das Rädchen zum Einschalten finde ich - ähnlich wie andere Benutzerinnen - auch nicht so optimal. Ist für mich aber nicht wirklich störend, da man das Gerät ja eh nicht ständig ein- und ausschalten muss bzw. arbeite ich immer nur mit der höheren Geschwindigkeitsstufe. Das Kabel zum Anstecken beim Gerät sitzt tatsächlich sehr locker und ist ständig rausgefallen. ABER: Man muss es einfach nur mit einem festen Ruck hineindrücken, und dann hält es einwandfrei! Bin halt nicht gleich draufgekommen ... Großes Plus: Die kleine Lampe (Smartlight) beleuchtet die Haut im Zug des Epilierens so gut, dass man auch die feinsten Härchen sehen kann. Das ist absolut komfortabel. Die Rasieraufsätze werde ich wahrscheinlich eher selten verwenden. Ein kleines Manko: die mitgelieferte Tasche zum Aufbewahren des Epilierers +Aufsätze ist ein einfacher Plastikbeutel, da hat Braun Abstriche gemacht ;-) Bei meinem alten Braun-Gerät ist ein schönes formstabiles Täschchen dabei. Die Gerätschaften werde ich jetzt einfach umschichten. FAZIT: Die Investition in ein neues Epiliergerät hat sich für mich gelohnt, ich bin begeistert, da das Ergebnis jetzt noch besser ist. Kann das Gerät 100%ig weiterempfehlen!

Acabo de probar mi nueva Silk-épil 5 Legs&Body (mod. 5280). Mis primeras impresiones son bastante buenas. Os explico un poco. En cuanto a potencia, creo que si tienes un poco de miedo a la hora de pasar la maquinita por tus piernas, en la posición dos (tiene 1 y 2), tiene la suficiente rapidez como para quitar los pelitos más rebeldes. Hay que dar varias pasadas para que se vayan todos los pelos, pero es rápido. Incorporación de luz: Funciona muy bien y hace su función a la perfección, ver los pelitos que quedan por quitar.. Se ve bastante bien. Un adelanto, aunque parezca una tontería. Agarre: Se adapta perfectamente a la mano, cosa que facilita la depilación. Sin más, sólo recomendar este modelo de depiladora electrónica. La única pega que he encontrado, es que, la bolsa de transporte es bastante cutre. No es como la que aparece en la fotografía de ejemplo que nos enseñan a la hora de comprar. Nos meten una bolsa blanca de tela (diría que medio papel de fumar), de las que se cierran estirando de un hilo. Espero que si tenías cualquier tipo duda a la hora de decantarse por una Silk-épil, os haya podido ayudar. Saludos.
