The review hype is actually real.
I'm a 40 year old women who has used, since she was 15, nothing more on her eyebrows other than an eyebrow pencil. I thought I was fine with just pencil. I thought things looked great, and that I had finally (recently gotten back into makeup) practiced well enough to use a pencil in such a manner as to make it look a bit more natural.Hahahahah oh wow. I was wrong.First, what drew me to this was obviously the price. Advertised as an ad-on for prime, it was super cheap. I nabbed it just to try it as I have honest-to-gosh never used a wax/powder on my brows. Only pencils. WELL.PROS:--Perfect shade for my very blond eyebrows! It looks like I have 3 hairs on my brows at all time, even though I only pluck around them to keep the forest getting over grown. Really can't see my eyebrows anyway. The two shades of wax/powder were perfect.--Wax was spot on. Holy moly! I used it before applying the powder/color and instead of fading away after a few hours of sweaty work like my pencil did, the addition of the wax kept untidy hairs in place AND my eyebrows were still on after I came home from work! Even with the accidental/occasional wiping my face. YAY--Really easy to get in there and make details like tiny hairs and the wax helps the color stick and fill in the patches of less hair.--CONS:--Only 1. The brush for details included is not ideal. It's plastic bristles (not the spooly, the brush for adding the color) and too thick to do anything but lay down solid color. I recommend using your own fave tiny hair bristle brush to get the details really in and do fine lines. That's it. That's the ONLY con to this.RECOMMEND: YES!

Brows that last! Even in dead heat of summer.
Product is little, but perfect for travel! Easy to use, last in the dead heat of summer, and great color match. I got blonde which I was little skeptical of at first. Simply, because I only have highlighted hair, but the darker shade in the palette was perfect! I would highly recommend getting a better brow brush. If you are going to be using it for every day use. I packed it in my hospital bag. For when I go into labor with my daughter. So in a pinch the brushes provided are fine! I tried them out previously. To see if I needed to purchase another brush for the couple of days hospital stay. I didn’t feel like I needed to. However, I am no brow expert, but it worked great for me! I especially loved the jail! I will be continuing to use this product even after my hospital stay. Because it worked so amazing in the dead heat of summer! For reference it was 95 today, but the heat index made it feel like 103. They did not budge! I did use a NYX brow liner under them though for reference. Then, went in and darken them up with the powder to set it. As well as the gel over top.

GREAT shade great product
The shade of this NYX eyebrow makeup is the perfect shade for me. I use to buy whatever eyebrow pencils and/or powders I could find. But not anymore this is the right shade. I like how it goes on. The powder part does not get hard, it stay useable for a long long time. Wax is necessary too. Most eye brow kits don't include wax.

Excellent brow product
I have medium red-blonde hair, but unfortunately, I was born with very light blonde eyebrows that not only are very, very light in color against my ghost-pale skin, but that grow in very sparsely in a messy shape because of my family's "we're pretty hairless people" genes. I have to draw them in everyday since there's not much to work with (meaning no brow-mascara or combing/plucking will improve things), and due my odd color of reddish blonde, it's terribly difficult to find a brow color that isn't too dark or too brown or too yellow or too grey. This powder is actually a very decent match with my hair, and I like the added white gel/wax/whatever. I mix the first powder together with the white stuff on an angle brush and sort of paint in my brows, adding in more powder with a clean, dry brush to make it a little softer. Works out very nice! And it stays in place better than if I were to just apply powder (especially in the inner corners of my brows where the hair is especially sparse and fine) I prefer this method to a pencil since I don't waste any product sharpening it, and using a brush means I never have to worry about a dull point making a too-heavy line or anything like that. Overall, it was well worth the money! I'm very happy with it. I don't think I'll ever use the second brow color though.

I like what this powder does for my eyebrows
I have dark blonde hair and fair skin, and I go for a more natural, subtle look for my makeup. I've found that just a little bit of the blonde powder goes a long way for me. If I use more than just a little bit, it's too dark. The package is small- the circle of wax is just slightly smaller than a nickle, but even so, I've hardly made a dent in the powder, and I've been using this for months. (Again, I only need to use a very small amount.)It blends better and looks softer than a pencil. I'll often use a separate brow comb to help distribute the powder evenly and work it into my brows. I don't always use the wax, but if I do, I'll apply it after the powder just to help hold everything in place. I didn't like the look of applying the powder over the wax.I have only ever used pencils before. This is the first powder that I've used, but I am happy with the results.

Okay, not for me
This eyebrow powder is okay. I am a very light brunette (my hair still turns blond in the sun) and so I chose blond because I was afraid the brunette would be too dark. I have found that even the lightest blond powder is pretty dark. It looks okay on me, but I find the powder hard to apply. I think after I finish this up, I'll go back to using a pencil because I have more control of the pencil. I do have to say, though, that the powder lasts all day, unlike my previously pencil which would rub off pretty quickly.
