Works great and comes with everything described. No complaints and I've been using it a lot.

There is nothing I don’t like about it. It comes in handy on the job when I need a true level line.

First time I received what looked to be a brand new unit in a factory sealed box, but the grade rod and red target was missing. With no luck reaching out to Bosch, Amazon sent a replacement. The replacement came and it does have a grade rod, but still no red target as shown in the pictures. I don't plan to use the red target anyway, but it does concern me a bit. If Bosch's quality control isn't even capable of making sure all 11 things are in the box, can they really be trusted to calibrate and check the accuracy of a laser that's supposed to be good to 1/16" over 100'?Other than missing pieces, it would be really nice if you got some indication of the current grade setting. For $900, they could give some user indication of what % grade you are set on when you adjust the grade. I guess you just push the button and check the grade and adjust as needed, but it seems like for the price of this tool, I shouldn't have to resort to "guess and check".On a positive note, all of the other feature work really well and the remote and dual sided receiver is really nice for long distance grading jobs. I'm happy with my purchase, but I might check out a different brand next time.

Ordered and received my first unit only to be disappointed by the missing grade rod and target. Spent an hour and a half with Amazon chat only to end up speaking with a supervisor (?) that spent more time going over the chat record than it took to solve the problem. Thanks to that individual I received a replacement unit that had everything except the target and the rotary laser has a screw missing that holds the red part on top of the laser (What the heck Bosch?). For this kind of money all the parts should be there and the unit assembled correctly. Bosch has been a long time favorite, but if their quality control doesn't improve I may have to look elsewhere for my tools. I hope this rotary laser is as reliable and accurate as it's advertised.

This unit is horrible and I feel completely ripped off. I sent in my original twice because it failed, and the third time they sent me a completely new unit. Well I went to do a job the other day with it and it has failed again!!!I am done sending it in and not having it when I need it!!

No instructions, can't get help or get it to calibrate, can't see red line. Don't buy

The quality of build is low.The unit worked for a total of 20 minutes.The opposite of every Bosch tool I've ever owned

After a couple days to researching, I decided the GRL2000-40HVK kit would meet my needs for a number of landscaping projects. I was primarily looking for:- a kit with laser, receiver, tripod, and measuring rod (bonus for remote and case)- a receiver so I wouldn't have to worry about the "seeing" the laser, also with front and back displays- remote to turn off then laser to extend battery life- +500ft range so I could work on large projects- a degree of weather resistance- $800-$1200 price range.After working with the GRL2000-40HVK for a couple of weeks, it does everything I need:- I especially like the 2 sided receiver - more often than not I use the front and back displays evenly. The receiver also allows you to set the accuracy. I leave it at 1/8 +/- for landscaping so it is quick to check levels without having to be exact.- the measuring rod is in feet and inches. Much better than decimals.- the tripod with laser mounted along with receiver on measuring rod are my goto carry out gear. Quick to set and get measuring.- I didn't think I needed much weather resistance but it's amazing how soon you forget your laser is out there when rain hits. I don't leave out in a down pour but it well sealed.Overall happy with the choice. I would purchase the same kit again

The item was purchased at a sale price but is defective and will not rotate. Amazon will not simply replace it, so in order to replace it i must pay a higher price. NOT FAIR!!!

Didn't get all the pieces. No yard stick came in my carrying case. Otherwise, it works well. Good value even without everything in it. Just upset I didn't get an essential part of the package
