Chess playing as it should be. Wooden chess pieces, wood frame board and a very intuitive interface with more options that most players are likely to need, this is a reminder of how the game should be played. I've enjoyed playing chess programs on my laptop, but this is very different. Chess is a three-dimensional, tactile game, and this superb computer is a reminder of that. Adaptive levels, comprehensive openings book, tutor mode and more, it really has pretty much everything needed to both enjoy the game and improve at it. Expensive, yes, but proof indeed that quality costs less.

This is a good item well made looks and feels sturdy and forfills all my chess needs ,chess pieces have a good weight and feel cons you only get a quick start guide and need to download the full manuel and as it is a german import you need to go back to the company you purchased it from as millennium do not seem to provide uk services even if it was bought in the uk if i had known this i may have got a different one its a case of lets see what happens further down the line

The item does not work. It broke after a few months. One day I went to turn it on, and it simply did not work. I got a new power adapter for the board, but it still would not work. I di nothing to it, I kept it in good condition and now its broken.

Nice board plays similar to a human opponent even better when you add the Millennium Luxe and the Millennium Volt and Millennium Link then you can play online and connect to other chess engines on laptop and bigger openings database.

An excellent chess set

On opening the box I noticed the gold panel covering the buttons was pealing up at one end. When I switched it on the enter button didn't work so I couldn't even select the language. The board is made of wood effect light plastic with some of the white squares being discoloured. You definitely get a lot less than you pay for with this product. On the plus side the pieces are made of wood and are quite nice.

I was really impressed with this chess computer. Well made and great to use. But it only worked for a few weeks and then started freezing, so I returned it. I have now ordered a replacement, but at a higher price which is disappointing, as Amazon told me they could not get a replacement from the supplier...though I noticed he had one on sale on Amazon at the price I originally paid a few days after I ordered the more expensive one! The replacement is on its way from Germany, so fingers XD it works this time.
