An absolute must for a tree swing. We purchased these straps six years ago, and through all types of weather and climate, they remain strong and durable. They can hold heavy weights, and they are not really made to be adjustable. However, they are very easy to use and install.

The swing arrived earlier than predicted and we were delighted. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions are clear, easy to follow, and include photos. It comes with a wrench to tighten lugs. No other tools are needed. The steel rods are threaded into the outside edge of the swing fabric and one end of the rod slides into the end of the other rod. So before threading the rods check to be sure that they are aligned so that there is an end that is smaller in diameter going into the end of the next rod which has a slightly larger diameter. The fabric is strong and porous so water can drain off. As you can see from the photos all materials are good quality and heavy duty. We also bought the Tree Swing Straps that comes with a spinner. Photo included. We bought this swing for our grandchildren to play on when they visit and we have a perfect Red Maple tree branch from which to hang it. Looking forward to some fun times. Arrived quickly and well-packaged. Came with all stated pieces and all pieces appear well-made. Installs in seconds and is very secure without chance of slipping as there is no tying needed. I bought this to replace previous straps that wore out over time and broke within a year of use (by toddlers). I just installed this less than a week ago, so obviously I won’t know how long it will last at this point. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the straps are a little too long for where I have them but not long enough for me to wrap twice. It would be nice to have them at 3 feet or even 3-1/2 feet, do options would have been nice. It was nice to get the rotational device in the package as straps and not have to purchase separately.

This saucer swing is a big hit with the grandkids! I also bought the straps with the spinner carabiner so the kids can swing and spin, which they gleefully do! I put the swing together fairly easily myself until the last junction. You will need help for the final joint. I really like that the swing is made in the USA! It is well made with sturdy materials and the metal supports are cushioned with foam noodles for a soft ride. I like this swing for myself too, so I think it will remain popular for years to come. The swing comes with a protective cover, but I still bring it inside when we are done playing on it at the end of the day to extend it's usable life. I highly recommend this swing to get the kids outside for interactive fun!

I have been using these straps for several years in outdoor conditions. First we used them to hang a hammock and now for about two years to support our vine. Apart from a slight change in color and maybe a little in texture, the straps are strong, not worn and do not show any signs of tearing anywhere.
