CMQ/OE Exam Study System

This this second time I used these flashcards to prep for an exam. They are a great way to hard wire key knowledge for the exam.I love the tools and approach, especially the “3 box sorting strategy” to segment to ensure that every question is reviewed and correctly answered at least 3 times. To do this, you create 3 boxes to sort and process the flashcards: Box1- I don't know these concepts well enough, Box 2- I know this concept and it is being processed at least 3 times and “Box 3- concepts that have been correctly answered at least 3 times.

Don't get me wrong, these flash cards are extremely useful and filled with questions and answers from all seven topics of the CMQ exam.Two problems are that the flash cards are printed on very flimsy paper. Definitely not card stock-ish paper most index cards used, and second is if you prefer short answers on the opposite side of your flash cards, these may not be for you.As seen in the pictures, the question sides are mostly short, one sentence questions or tasks. The answer side is jam packed with almost the entire card filled with sentences, definitions, explanations and more. And while all that information is definitely helpful, it would have been much better I'd the info was spread out more onto more cards, rather than stuffed onto a single card.Those are my only gripes. Other than that, I like them, and I will.update this review after I've taken the exam to let you know just how much of this info is on the exam.

Comprehensive and affordable

I was disappointed that these flashcards have exactly the same information as what's in the yellow CMQ/OE "Secrets" book - I basically bought the same information twice. Also, the flashcards are crammed with information that I don't find easily digestible - it is ALL definitions and terms, no actual questions like you'd see on sample exams. For my own personal preference, I'd rather read and highlight the book instead. And the flashcards are perforated, so you have to spend time ripping them all apart before you can start using them.My advice would be to buy one or the other between the flashcards or yellow book (both of these products are by Mometrix). The information provided IS helpful, just depends on how you learn best and your preference in study materials.

I have just start reading this flashcards and I felt overwhelming first since the information is so large.You can bring this cards with you anywhere to study since you can divide them individually to create sub-group.I like the additional explanation how to use flashcards with "the Leitner Method" and I will try to use this method in my office environment as well.After I finish reading this cards and I will try to put them together to create my own note book so that I can definitely pass my test this time.
