Christopher's Original Formulas Complete Tissue & Bone Ointment, Herbal Topical for Muscle & Joint Support, 4 fl oz

34yr old male. I suffered an ACL sprain a year ago. It never quite healed the way I expected. Still had random inflammation where my knee would swell. Had trouble walking down stairs. That caused my other knee to over compensate so now I had two bad knee's. Tried glucosamine supplements, ibuprofen etc. Problem lingered for months. Couldn't jog or play basketball. Gained some weight which made things worse. Then one day my coworker told me about this miracle plant called the Comfrey root and how it could treat 'bone' ailments. Sounded too good to be true but I didn't have the time to plant and grow it etc. Found this ointment on Amazon. Saw the reviews and figured why not. All I can say is thank you! I literally saw improvement the first week of use and after a month my knees literally stopped swelling. Truly amazing. It also treats runners knees in case your knees make popping noises. Recommendation for those with serious knees injuries: After use don't walk on knees for 1 hr. Keep knees elevated. After 1st month of use perform squats and light walking for rehab. Then immediately afterwards apply ointment and again don't walk for at least 30mins. I then take a shower then apply more. Definitely apply at night while sleeping and also in the morning. Since some reviews mentioned a strange odor it appears the manufacture listened and it's safe to use in the day now. If you still don’t approve of the smell there is a liquid version by Dr Christopher that will work just as good. I find myself buying more even when I have plenty on hand. Never want to run out of this miracle ointment. Also remember to store in the refrigerator. Update: 3 years later everywhere I go I tell everyone about this miracle ointment. My knees are 100% healed. I can now squat with weights and run faster again. I have switched from this balm version of Dr Christopher’s Bone and Ointment and now use the liquid version more. But both products work just as good. Even though my knees are 100% healed I find myself still using this as a recovery/maintenance solution to keep my knees lubricated. I also put this on the bottom of my feet before I go on long jogs. It makes my feet feel like I’m walking on clouds. Don’t use these words often but this is a Game Changer!!!! Year 4: I literally use it before all my long distance runs. Apply it to hip areas, bottom of my feet and knees. I literally feel no pain during extraneous runs. People ask me about compression knees socks and knees products. Well this is my all natural version and it’s more cost effective. One day if I ever get to meet Dr Christopher drinks are clearly on me!! This man and team deserve an award or something for this product.

The first time I got this, my tablet had fallen and landed corner down on my big toe and broke it. I was starting a new job within a week and it would require being on my feet constantly. So, I looked up comfrey ointments and decided on this one. The first few days of work were uncomfortable, but so long as I didn’t flex my foot, the pain was tolerable. Within a week of starting the ointment, I could move any way I needed to without pain. After that, it became my favorite ointment for all bumps, bruises and scratches, muscle and bone pains. It makes everything heal so much faster and cleaner. I still prefer vitamin E for burns, but when I’m out of that, I will apply this. I loaned that first jar to my father-in-law for bone spurs in his heels and he said it brought him relief. I actually never got the jar back because he liked it so much, so I bought another. I ended up giving away more jars over the years and buying myself another every time. I’ve had this fifth one for a couple years now. I did use some on my cousin’s hand and wrist. He has carpal tunnel, I think. He told me weeks later that it was the only thing that ever helped and took all the pain away. Had he said that at the time, I would have left the jar with him and gotten yet another. Haha Last year, my husband hurt himself at work. Painkillers did absolutely nothing for him, but the ointment did. It’s also fantastic on sore muscles, and even on some skin issues. All in all, it’s probably the most effective and useful product I have in my medicine cabinet.

Helps my shoulder pain and knee pain very well. Only inconvenience is must be refrigerated and the ointment is quite hard so have to dig an amount to use. It does then massage well into the area needed. It does have a little aroma but not bad. In the end it is effective in pain and soreness of muscles and joints.

Honestly, this is probably only my 2nd time writing a review. However, I felt I HAD to on this product because it has amazed me after only having it a few hours. I have been suffering with hip pain for almost a year and rely on Tylenol and Aleve for relief. Before I could take some meds, I remember this Christopher’s ointment was delivered today. I decided to try it before taking any medication. I’m so serious, it’s been about an hour since I rubbed my hip, and I didn’t think it would do anything quickly BUT IT DID. I can only imagine how much better I’ll be by using this daily for a while. I also have been having pain in my left hand between the thumb and index finger, I rubbed it on my hand and it was hurting to rub it in. But I’m telling the truth the pain is gone. I will continue using it on my hand as well to hopefully experience full pain relief.

Smells too much like the first ingredient to me. The olive oil is overpowering and yellowing. I will go back to Lemants brand. It was green and smelled more floral. Hopefully I can get over the smell to use this jar up. My fault for trying to save a few bucks. Neither are likely as good as the Kyatt.

I wa surprised how quickly I felt relief from my aching shoulders. Highly recommend this cream.

I'm so grateful for this wonderful product, which has helped my hubby with a lower back pain (nerve associated) issue. This and the nerve drops (with the original formula) are helping his back steadily improve, and heal naturally (without pain killers). He's massaging a small amount - about the size of a quarter - into his back pain area each night (putting a paper towel overtop the massaged area to protect the bedding from any potential staining - though we don't think it would) and each day when he wakes up, he comments on how much better his lower back is feeling. Pain is definitely diminishing and going away as the inner nerves and tissue around the injury begin to heal with this natural help. I'm also using occasionally for tight shoulder muscles and have found that it also eases things very nicely. The scent is natural (not nasty or smelly) and reminds me of beeswax soap (if you like that scent). We'd recommend happily.

I knew I damaged my knee back in August . It was constantly burning and paining when I moved it. Went to physio, nothing seemed to take down the pain and burn. I started using this comfrey ointment 3 weeks ago. I rub in all over my knee a couple of hours before bed every night. I'm not pain free but the burning left and the pain decreased from level 10 to 3. I can move my knee around a lot more. Turns out I had a tear by the meniscus causing the problems. Wish I knew about this stuff when I first got injured back in August. Might not have suffered so much.

Tried a lot of things, this appealed to me due to the Comfrey

Great seller, the product was genuine and arrived on time. I deducted one star because the next day of my order this seller reduced the price by 400rs I guess. So I was wondering why. Anyway I used the ointment and didn't observe such bad smell I had 9 fractures around backbone and pelvic region. I could not explain if it helped or not also I used it only for 10days because of Comfrey. Will definitely update after a visit to doctor.
