I am fascinated with my new Ninja blender. The power of its motor is strong and impressive—it blends frozen fruit, hard ingredients, raw and cooked foods easily and quickly in just seconds. In addition, it is very complete: it includes a pitcher, two single-serve cups, a food processing bowl, and two attachments for kneading and chopping. This allows me to prepare everything from smoothies to pizza or bread dough. Cleaning is also very easy because the blades are large and wide, which makes washing much easier. The "weapon" itself is an intimidating tower of blades that looks like it means business. And it does. My go-to green smoothie is packed with tough kale, frozen pineapple, and solid ice cubes. I was skeptical of the "Auto-iQ" button, figuring it was a gimmick, but it's genuinely the most brilliant feature. You press it once, walk away, and the blender intelligently pulses to break everything up before roaring to full speed. The result is a perfectly smooth, velvety drink every single time, with no grainy bits or leafy flecks left behind. But let's be clear about the trade-off, and it's a big one: this blender is breathtakingly loud. I am not exaggerating when I say it sounds like a jet engine is taking off on my counter for 60 seconds. My dog flees the room, and I have to give my partner a heads-up before I turn it on. The only other minor frustration is having to be extremely careful when hand-washing that very sharp blade assembly, but thankfully, the whole thing is dishwasher-safe.

Worth the money and I highly recommend this product. The base is not really bulky for the power that the motor produces. The secret is that the motor is a high wattage. If you are shopping for a blender and smoothie maker. Please take note of all the cheaper models and compare the wattage. Be careful of imitations and junk that are priced low.

I think it works great. My granddaughter and I made juice from different fruits. Had to strain afterwards, but, it even ground up apples with the peel on! Easy cleanup too!
