Lavanila Vanilla Grapefruit Perfume for Women, 0.32 oz Roller - Citrus, Warm Cedarwood & Soft Vanilla, The Healthy Fragrance, Clean and Natural

Gotta be honest— this IS a vanilla scent BUT not a conventional vanilla due to the fragrance undertones. Some reviews mention is a “mature” vanilla. The best way to describe it is that it has a musk to it with a powdery finish. The grapefruit really helps balance the powder with acidity and comes out very warm with a citrus/woody dry down. Personally I like it, but it’s very unique and not your typical marshmallow vanilla everyone is used to. If you can get behind something different then you might like this, but don’t expect a gourmand fragrance. Finally a vanilla that’s not sickeningly sweet smelling

Ordered to try scent. I used during summer months. It doesn't seem like the scent lasts that long but does smell good at initial application. I like the size and the roller applicator and would just reapply during the day.

I’ve been using this perfume since ~2008. It’s the only one that doesn’t make me cringe at the idea of smelling like it all day. I loved it because I could smell vanilla and citrus no hidden “notes” that my nose could pick up as surprises throughout the day. Well I just opened this bottle and yes vanilla and grapefruit but also some flower scent. I rolled some in my wrists before realizing and it’s been about 30 minutes and I’m going to need to take a shower to get it off. I’m going to have to give it as a gift or something. Don’t get me wrong it’s a pleasant smell but it now has other smells besides vanilla and grapefruit. I detest floral notes which is why I was a lavanila fan. Well as it turns out mixing vanilla and citrus essential oils isn’t too complicated so I guess I’ll be doing that.

Lovely smell. Its a citrusy vanilla. Perfect for spring or summer. I enjoy the opening that is tart in a good way and how its blended so well with the vanilla. I would have given 5 stars, but the roller does not roll and its hard to apply the fragrance. I wish I had just gotten the biggest bottle instead of trying to sample it first.

I originally found this fragrance as a sample from my local Sephora, but of course they didn't have the full size in stock. With free Prime shipping, it was a great deal on Amazon. This fragrance does not smell like a food item to me, in spite of the "Vanilla Grapefruit" description. It does smell citrusy with a warm vanilla scent, but not like cookies, if you know what I mean. The sharp edge of the grapefruit does seem to wear off after the first 45 minutes or so on me. This is one of the few perfumes I have found that does not make me sneeze all day, and seems to be a soft enough fragrance that it doesn't bother others while I am at work. I love this and will order more when this one runs out. Small update: I eventually purchased the perfume bottle as well, and for some reason, the perfume in the bottle seems to have more of a grapefruit edge to it, and last longer, than what I have in the rollerball. This could be because it is easier to apply a lot more perfume faster with the perfume bottle atomizer than with the roller ball, but I thought maybe it would be worth mentioning here. I don't buy a lot of perfume, so maybe this is something that is commonly known be perfume aficionados, but it was a new experience to me.

I purchased the Vanilla Grapefruit scent and while it’s not terrible, I will not purchase it again. I find it to be an earthy vanilla scent, what you might think of as musky. The price is good and the rollerball size is convenient to throw in your bag. It lasts all day; I can still smell it well into the evening.

Smells WONDERFUL, but is very subtle, which you may or may not be pleased about. Fragrance doesn't last long on me, but it's also very hot and dry where I live. I CAN smell it slightly after a few hours, not sure if other people do. But that's probably good, as it won't bother people with sensitive noses.

Nice fresh scent. This is my 3rd time purchasing… really light and not overpowering.
