These are funny little batteries, but they were exactly what I needed for a 24v modification for my bass guitar where A23s were required. They dropped right in, worked immediately, and have been holding their charge well so far. The biggest win for me is the price — these were about 50% cheaper than buying locally at Walmart, which is great considering they’re name-brand alkaline batteries. No leaks, no issues, and they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. If you need A23 batteries for remotes, electronics, or small mods, these are a solid, affordable option.

A23 batteries are not, in my experience, widely used, but I have a couple of remotes for turning on lights in the house that require them. These Energizer replacements are perfect, and though they are not labeled well, you can probably ignore any additional lettering you find next to the A23 on your device as it turns out there is only ONE type of A23 battery, so they don't make one with a different voltage, or fatter-thinner-longer-shorter than this one. It is the most competitively priced as well.
