Pretty cool...
OK, so, I bought this for my audio project. Then I decided that I did not want another "gadget" in my car. I even submitted for an return through Amazon. (BTW, the return process through Amazon is awesome!) Then, my installer started in on how he liked toying with the base, in some cases, from song to song. So, I was mildly swayed. It wasn't until I opened the package and figured out the the plastic housing could be removed and the remote could be mounted flush. I either missed it in the write-up, the packaging or it just wasn't clear. I ended up mounting the remote inside of console. It's out of the way and kind of convenient. Install was very simple...I uses the face plate as a template, marked the holes, drilled and put the unit back together. The remote works just fine and gives alot of range and fun. Especially valuable when listening at lower volume and want some extra kick! The LED is also cool...gives a blue glow.I am VERY glad I was convinced to install. Gives good control. The "gadgetry" is more subtle with the stealthy mounting capability. A must buy for medium and higher end systems!

Works perfect for the t15 for t2500 amp
If you buy the t1500 or the t2500 amp I highly recommend that you get this it will fit the plug is just a little wider than the old style knobs that they used for the amps before 07 because it has a power light on it that's pretty bright the performance is unreal I love fosgate I highly recommend it

Research your bass knob first!
Do your research first if you’re going to be using this or any other knob for the first time with your RF amp. Since they have so many different knobs, I had to go to the RF website to find out which knob can be used with my P200-2 amp. This uses the Cat 5/6 cable and not the phone line.

Worth it for the price
Got this with my PBR500X1 amp, a single channel sub amp (just posted review of that too). Install on amp couldn't be easier, just plug it in. Install of knob depends on you. I did it the hard way, lol. It comes in the black box you see in the pics, and a little mounting bracket. Two screws in the bracket, anywhere you choose (upside down or sideways even), slide the box on and BAM!! Done! Another option is to take the black box off and flush mount it somewhere. This was my choice, I had a couple blank spots on my button panel so seemed logical. There's a small Rockford Fosgate logo panel to use, or you can install it with just the knob. I used the panel, somehow looks better, cleaner. There's an extra blue led with about 2 inches of wire so you can relocate it instead of using the onboard one (which is removable too but only fits in the one place). The cable is a flat phone like cable, I just simply pushed it under the floorboards and zip-tied the excess under the dash. This is NOT a sub-woofer volume or level control, it IS a BASS BOOST - it raises or lowers (depending on where you have your settings) the bass frequencies (which does effect the volume a tad of course), basically in the lower bass guitar area, but not the super deep bass. (I think the actual frequency is listed in the product description). From what I read, it will do the same with highs if used with the four-channel amps, not sure though as I haven't done so... yet...PROS - easy install, depending on what you wanna do on the knob side of things. "Actual" install time once I decided what I was going with, was maybe 20 minutes. I painted the panel I mounted it too and the one next to it to match the buttons already there, and played with the LED, so it took me a couple hours (mostly waitin' on paint). Adds more control over bass response than I expected. Looks good and professional when flush mounted. This is one of those few things that's easy to try out in car stereo, since all you need to do is plug it in. It's well worth the money if you want a little more control over bass.CONS - it does feel a little cheap, but it's just a tiny micro board with a knob on it. Really once installed, that means nothing anyway, so it's moer neutral I guess. The LED is disgustingly bright... and I LOVE leds, have them everywhere, this one is TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bright!!!! It's blue and lit up my entire van. I ended up unplugging the LED all together. I'll probably try moving it lower so only the glow comes through the hole.

A must have even if you already have an RCA bass knob
Even if you already have an RCA bass knob, adding this to your T1500 or T2500 is a MUST HAVE. Makes it so much easier to achieve the punchy bass when you want it. Plus you can mount it like 3 different ways. Great product.

Works like it promises, easier than adjusting the EQ for every other song on my deck.
This is WAY easier than holding down the menu button on my stereo deck for three seconds just to get into the menu so I can scroll down to the EQ settings and dial in the bass level every other song. That was a pain in the butt. This is cake. If the highs and mids are dialed into your system for most of the songs....the one place that usually is off is the low end,..and this helps you dial in that low end just perfectly with a quick twist of a knob. It's a 45 HZ bump and it's just right. The only thing I have pause with is I installed it right between my drivers seat and the middle console and sometimes it starts to creep up off of the metal adapter it fastens to. I've considered putting a small amount of super glue on it to hold things from moving around but other than that, it's a great thing. No regrets...works great.
