Adderall Vs Neuro-Peak for those of us W/ADHD/ADD
The diagnosis of ADD as a young adult was huge for me. I had a terrible time focusing in school and would fall asleep. I would forget things constantly. I had social anxiety and would lose track of what people were saying - I basically just assumed I was dumb. Treating my ADD was so amazing, I could concentrate in school, felt more confident, you guys all know the story. Stimulant medication is incredibly effective for focus, productivity and memory, but unfortunately, there are a ton of side effects.A huge one for me was the constant urge to smoke. Some of the other side effects I hated? Dry mouth, trouble sleeping, increased anxiety, being treated like a criminal by ignorant pharmacists...but without the medication I was screwed at work and school. I have tried other Nootropics with either no effect at all or side effects (Onnit's nootropic made me hallucinate, for example!)After another failed attempt to stop smoking cigarettes and desperation to find an alternative to my ADD meds, I stumbled upon Neuro-Peak, and decided to try it since it had tons of good reviews and was relatively cheap.Holy crap, guys. This does everything that my ADD meds did for me but with none of the "speedy" side effects. I studied Macroeconomics for 2 hours this morning and actually retained most of the information. I've been in an overall better mood, and have more energy and attention for my kids.I am not organizing my sock drawer by color and size, but I can do a load of dishes in one standing.I'm not writing superfluous dissertations, but I can answer writing prompts critically and clearly. If you are the kind of person who takes Adderall or Ritalin to get "high," you will not find those effects mimicked with this product. But for clarity, improved mood and concentration for folks who have attention disorders, I haven't seen anything work this well ever, and I've tried a lot of supplements, vitamins and "natural" remedies.I am totally impressed, and will continue to buy, as well as update this review every few months. As of today, this stuff is actually working exactly as it claims to.UPDATE - 4/6/18Still loving this stuff, here's a few things I've noticed.Side effects: our bodies are all different, so for some people this may not work at all or have negative side effects. The *only* one I've noticed is thirst. When ignored, it leads to a headache. If I stay hydrated it's not an issue.Using W/Adderall: as I'm still taking it with off days, I've been experimenting with taking both, and I notice the side effects of Adderall are definitely decreased when taken with Neuropeak (specifically jitteriness). It seems to enhance the ADD meds so I need less of them, HOWEVER - I have definitely noticed that I develop a tolerance to Neuropeak after a while, and it seems to work best if I take a few days off here and there. I also have success with taking 2 at a time if I'm tired and going to be studying late, with no effect on sleep. Overall, still loving the results.UPDATE - 7/14/18Still loving this stuff. Still calms jitters while giving me focus. When I take it at work I find that the time flies by and my productivity and confidence are up. Still *Definitely* need to remember to drink water with it or I get a wicked headache, but I remember most of the time. Has not completely replaced my ADD medication, but has supplemented it very nicely and helped me cut down.

Great product but be aware of the extreme levels of Huperzine if taken with other Rx or suppliments.
The label states 0.5mg or 500 mcg Huperzine which is the maximum amount of that nootropic. The problem is if the person adding this supplement has additional Huperzine or Choline enhancers in its makeup possibly pushing the user into likely headaches and unwanted side effects from to much acetylcholine. Is the product listing 0.5mg Huperzine a typo or factual which questions how this product passed any formulation studies. 300-400 mcg high but ok and while 500mcg places even normal individuals on the razors edge of too much acetylcholine especially if their stack increases it elsewhere.

Not for kids, pregnant women, or women trying to conceive.
Most of the ingredients listed seems to be focused more on mental issues, Alzheimer’s, ADHD and so forth. Helpful for short term use. Not sure I’d use as a long term help supplement. I would not recommend to use on kids. Adults and older adults yes, but as always consult your doctor first especial if you’re on other meds or even other herbs as some listed in this supplement might interact.Vitamin B-12: Dosage guidelines for Children 4 to 8 years is 1.2 micrograms, Children 9 to13 years is 1.8 micrograms. Adult men and women over age 14 are 2.4 micrograms. The 500 mcg is well above those guidelines. However B-12 is water soluble and considered safe if more than the recommended amount is ingested (just remember to drink your water) We also ingest B-12 in foods.Bacopa Monnieri (Water Hyssop): Adult dosing 200-400 milligrams in divided doses. That would put this supplement right in the middle. It is too high for children as the dosing is 200 milligrams. The plant this is derived from is known to accumulate Toxic metals like mercury or other toxins, Non-GMO and responsible sorced procducs help reduce that risk. Bacopa can also increase the potency of Thyroid-stimulating drugs and inhibit Thyroid-suppressing drugs. Side effects: Upset stomach if taken without food. Best results are in the 8 to 12 weeks range. Recommended usage is up to 12 weeks.Phosphatidylserine: Is something the body produces but we get most of it from food sources. Not recommended to take over 300 milligrams so at 100 milligrams this is under the dosing guidelines. Do not take if on a blood thinner. Recommended for up to 6 months usage. Side effects: insomnia and upset stomach.Ginkgo Biloba: Adult dosing can be varied up to 240 milligrams per day. The 100 milligram does in the capsule is well within the average doesage. It is not recommended to give to children. Effects of ginkgo maybe noticeable starting at the 4 to 6 week range. Not recommended to take with blood thinners, NSAID painkillers, anti-platelet drugs, anticonvulsants, antidepressants, diabetes medicines, drugs that affect the liver and supplements like garlic, saw palmetto, St. Johns wort, and yohimbe.Rhodiola Rosea Extract (Golden Root): Adult dosing is listed as 250-500 milligrams twice a day about 15 mins before meals. At 50 milligrams this is under those dosing guide lines. This is an adaptogen herb.DMAE: I was unable to find dosing for this. It is made in small quantities in the brain. DMAE may potentially be teratogenic (causing defects in unborn infants) in the first few days after impregnation and should not be used orally by women who are attempting to conceive.
