First, I came a bit hesitantly to this product. Up to the point where it became one of the enemy recommendations in my Amazon search, I had already purchased at least 5 (+\- ) supposedly great and well respected carpet cleaning brands. They didn't work. If I wanted a nice quick clean over our carpet that is dirty from 3 months of regular use, they would have been fine. Maybe. But, they did not live up to the claims.in brief: We inherited a puppy from a family member that had to go into assisted living care. No pets allowed. We had recently lost our family favorite GoldenDoodle and said no more pets. The trauma of losing her wss too much. But along came this adorable cuddly sweet chihuahua and we begrudgingly took him in. Butttttt, as adorable!e as he is, he took our carpet to its limits with too many accidents. we'd never had this issue before with a pet. Plus, as he is a male dog, the urine was AWFUL. We were dealing with both Stains and smells! I am a freak about our home NOT smelling like a pet and joint having a carpet that has stains all over it. But he was killing us with his accidents. As I mentioned above, nothing I found cleaned up those areas! i researched, i viewed every possible bit of info i could find. It was a nightmare! I would think that it finally smelled and looked clean only to be proven an idiot the day after when it as dry. Plus that smell would not leave. No matter what enzyme or specialized product on the market - or even naturally hand made. Desparate. So I search again. Long hours too. That's when I saw this Bubba's brand. Now I've lived in the South and Bubba has various meanings. Not one that makes me want to purchase a product. But, I went on to read everything I could about it. Review, various professional comments, etc. I said the heck with it, I'll give it a try. So I did. I purchased the smallest bottle as AA just in case so I wouldn't spend more than I needd. The price made me get happy- all the others were ridiculous with pricing. I no longer judge quality on price regarding this type of thing. It was delivered and. I immediately got our carpet cleaner out and went nuts. Guess what?! I LOVED IT! I was in shock. It was working and even better the scent of the solution wasn't chemical-like as i was using it - unlike the others. It blew all of the other products out of the water! Stains were gone days after it was fully dried. The Smell was eliminated, unlike all those other poducts. After all those disappointments I now have full faith in a product that actually works. Bubbas is very much worth a try.

We had short pile no padding carpet in a basement room that we discovered our old dog had been sneaking down to unfortunately relieve himself on. The problem we had was on old set in stains and, the carpet had previously been cleaned multiple times with a variety of products and techniques, but the smell would always come back.I cleaned my carpets 3 months ago, but I purposely waited to review the product until after I had an opportunity to use it and fully test the results. Meaning wait until the summer time heat and humidity returned. That time arrived and I was still skeptical so I turned off the de-humidifier for a week or so, and can now report that I am thoroughly AMAZED with this product! The odor is GONE and has not returned. Our carpet is dark brown and to see the pet stains I had to take a photo and change the saturation settings of the picture...it was only after doing that, that I learned how badly that room had been used by the dog. I am happy to report that the stains are also gone! Not only that but set in stains on a cream colored carpet from and old over 2 year vomit accident also came up with this product.... and to top it off set in blood stains also were taken care of with this product! All of these issues are ones that we had tried many other treatments on. If you are skeptical at all... this is the product to get!!!!I have a sensitive nose, some scents cause issues for me, but this product didn't cause any problems. I cannot pinpoint the scent of the product, something like wintergreen but not exactly. Regardless, the scent was fine to work with, not over powering, and dissipated in a couple of days using it.I will say that I was not able to use the product as instructed on my carpet. For deep set in stains it says that it is best to pretreat the area, I started out using a spray bottle but after determining just how bad it was I went to just pouring it on with a watering can type of device. Then something came up expectedly and I was not able to follow up with the steam cleaning until the next day (at least 18 hours later). Perhaps this extra time allowed the enzymes to work more thoroughly, perhaps it wasn't needed, I am not sure. Either way my carpet turned out beautifully and it will not need to be replaced!Kudos to Bubba's!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a dog that has perpetual accidents (poop and pee). As long as I soak up any excess from the accident, the cleaner does a really good job in my little Bissell, even if the stain dries. The only area I've had trouble with is a urine stain on my white carpet that I didn't see until long after the accident dried. The cleaner didn't completely get rid of the yellow spot but it definitely lightened it - fortunately it's in an inconspicuous place. Some reviewers complained that it didn't get rid of the odor, but it has worked for me. One thing I do love about this cleaner and would give it 5 stars for is that it is gentle on dyed rugs. Unlike other reviewers, I don't have a strong opinion on the smell- it isn't the best smelling cleaner I've ever used but it definitely doesn't smell bad. The cleaner also seemed to help with normal dirt and grime in addition to accident areas, but it's not a cure all. For older, high traffic areas or deeply set in stains, I added a little ammonia to the water + Bubba's Solution in my Bissell and it worked really well. I've used it three times now and I'm not disappointed. It's a miracle product if you set realistic expectations. For those of you expecting to remove really old set-in stains, chances are the carpet probably requires professional cleaning.
