Satisfied
Ok overall... I was satisfied. Some of the scents were a LITTLE bit on the artificial side, but otherwise ok!

Not a home run
I don't know if I would purchase this oil set again if I could go back in time. A lot of the oils did not smell how I expected them to smell. And once diffused into my house, some of them were actually nauseating and I had to switch those ones out. But in a soap, I imagine they could possibly be good. A lot of my P&J fragrance oils have been disappointing and my most disliked in my whole collection. They're my least used oils. (*whisper* Eternal Essence is where it's at). I will be staying away from this brand from now on just because their track record is not great and I don’t want to keep wasting my money on gross oils. Bamboo - I don't know what bamboo is supposed to smell like, but this oil smells exactly like freshly cut roses from my grandma's backyard. Lotus blosson - a nice generic floral scent. Very sweet and perfume-y and I can see it as a scent for a body wash. Aloe - smells similar to the P&J fresh cotton fragrance oil. It's just like my Tide laundry detergent. Lavender - smells more like lavender soap when compared to my other lavender essential oils. It doesn't have the same sharpness, and I guess that's the difference between a fragrance oil and an essential oil. Green tea - it doesn't smell like the green tea in my pantry, but if I didn't know what green tea smelled like, I would believe this was it. But it’s pretty strong and in your face. Cucumber melon - exactly what you would expect a cucumber melon fragrance to smell like. Sweet but not sickly. Overall, I’d say it’s a 5/10.

This was my first time buying from this company. I really like how they group a handful of scents together as a theme. It arrived quickly, no damage. The bottles are leak-proof, and sturdy. As for the scents themselves- only use *a few* drops at a time. Truly- I use ONE drop in my diffuser. The scents are quite nice, but can easily become overpowering and headache-inducing, if you are not careful. My one other comment is that the names of the fragrances are more theoretical than factual- for example, lavender, of all things, is not lavender-scented. That is normally a very distinct scent, and if you have ever had lavender essential oil you will know what I mean. This may have some lavender in it, but it definitely is not lavender essential oil. All in all: they are nice scents, long-lasting, and fun. They are not true essential oils, and they are very, very strong. As long as that is okay with you, they are worth a try.
