West System 205-A Fast Hardener

This has become the only thing we use on our rental skis. It's worth it!

West system products worked very well. Easy to mix and apply with use of measuring hand pump, and syringe. Used to harden soft spots on RV floor. Make sure your holes are NOT drilled completely through the floor, or product will just run through. This product has a thin viscosity in order to inject where needed. Takes time to harden. Starts to harden within about 10-15 minutes. Oder is minimal which was a great surprise. Still used in well ventilated area.

This was my first time using West System epoxy. I bought this along with the kit with the 204A hardener. The 205 hardener worked great with plenty of working time for some butcher block waterfall counter tops I was assembling. Thick enough to address some minor gaping issues yet thin enough to squeeze out properly for a great wood joint. I've use the hardware store epoxies or small bottle epoxies for many years and finally bit the bullet for West System. More expensive upfront but much cheaper overall. It is so much more convenient. The pumps are quick and so much more accurate for ensuring a proper cure. I highly recommend this product.

We systems makes an excellent product. There are several hardeners, to go with their 105 epoxy resin. Choose the right Harder, for your application. The epoxy can be readily mixed with mill glass to increase structural strength of parts and also increase viscosity. It can also be mixed with micro balloons to increase viscosity. Work with it as you wish.

West System a great Fiberglass product , very strong and durable. System quite Expensive top use a lot. Was used to join / repair hardboard facia panels.

I have been using West System epoxy for a wide variety of woodworking and handyman applications for over 15 years. It always has given me the quality and dependable results that I want. Occasionally I have tried other brands, especially when they have "special" pricing. But I always come back to West System - those other brands I tried just seem to have more variation in cure times, ease of application and results.

The West System is by far the best epoxy on the market to date! Easy to use! No mass. Simple to mix by pump! Use 205-A (Fast Hardener) or (206 Slow Hardener) I have been using it for 25 years and never had a problem with it! Great Epoxy!

Great product

Back in the nineties I used a lot of the WEST products in the maintenance of an antique wooden sedan cruiser and the building of lapstrake prams, so when I decided to build a couple of English garden benches, WEST System epoxy was my choice for adhesive. To my surprise, the line seems virtually extinct in the market, but I shall continue to use it for joinery projects involving mortise and tenons used in outdoor applications where complete imperviousness to water in joints is essential to durability. It works well as a glue in outdoor frame and panel door and window construction.
