These chisels worked amazingly. They are very sharp, very well made. They come with a protective coating over the blades to help keep them clean and free from any water. The box that the chisels came in is also very nice. I am very happy with how flat the chisels are, doesn't seem to be any missed sections. I know there are higher priced chisels out there but I felt these ones were the best value . The handle size fits perfectly in my hand. Overall, a very good purchase.

I have a similar set of these chisels at my shop in Canada. They hold an edge well and sharpen as you expect from a high quality tool. I needed a set of chisels for my studio in Thailand and I didn’t have to think twice.

This is my first high-end chisels I ever bought and they come extremely sharp. They handle well they take out what I need to be taken out of my work and I never have a problem with them. I haven’t had to sharpen them yet. The blade stays sharp and they look fantastic.

I thought I was going to get some high quality tools in a nice heirloom box, to be inherited by whoever buys them at the estate sale, on account of me not having any kids to pass them down to. Unfortunately, the box is made out of compressed paper. Upon opening, I was greeted by a small pile of broken brackets, also made of compressed paper. Shipping from the Czech Republic to my hands must have been rough, given the chisel marks on the side of the box. As for the chisels, I was not expecting scalpels but they do need a bit more sharpening. They are nicely oiled, though. They feel good in the hand and seem well made, if not perfectly finished. The printed brand on the handles cheapens their appearance. I have to wait for my hand to heal before I can give these chisels a go but they look like they'll get the job done.

These chisels are very high grade. They were sharp right out of the box and ready for use. I ordered these along with Blue Spruce chisels from Woodpecker. The Narex chisels, my opinion, are better made. I rated the Narex chisels at 5 stars. I rate the Blue Spruce chisels at 4 stars. I will have to sharpen the Blue Spruce chisels before they can be used. The Narex chisels are ready to be used straight from their presentation box. The handles on the Blue Spruce are on the small side. Narex handles are larger giving the user more control. I, personally, am very disappointed with the Blue Spruce chisels.

Excellent quality

As someone who watches a ton of YouTube videos (that makes me super credible right?) these come highly recommended by lots of YT woodworkers. My first set of chisels were cheap and were unable to really do the things I wanted to do (be sharp, hold an edge for a long time, be square, be able to take a really great mirror polish). These need very little to almost no work to get to what I wanted right out of the box. Some stropping with compound on my Tormek and these are in super shape! Some work with these on a really high grit diamond stone and they are perfection. Incredibly great steel and the wooden storage box is a huge blessing (and looks great too). Highly recommend these!

Unfortunately the number six chisel had a bad chip on the blade, I normally would have just resharpened it but being that it’s such a small chisel i didn’t want to have to do that. Everything else about this set is great and I’ve ordered a replacement set. The handles fit nice in the hand and I have big hands. Straight, flat, and sharp right out of the box.

The holder in the middle of the box broke on the way, as usually happens to everyone. Luckily, the half of the box was not broken, only a couple of scratches. Fixable. The chisels themselves look very good, oiled and sharp. Delivery 3 days. I hope the Czech quality will live up to expectations. Thank you Narex.

Very satisfied purchase. Packed in nice wooden box, high quality, already honed. Had try on 26 mm, very sharp.

Bought these after seeing them recommended on YouTube - they are beautifully made and nice and sharp right out of the box. Glad I bought the one in the box too as I could unscrew the lid and place it in a drawer keeping everything together. Nice tools and sharp tools make the work much more enjoyable

Good chisels the 12 mm chisel looks like it missed the last sharpening stage possibly as it was rather dull. Took care of that with some time on the sharpening stones. Also unfortunately the wood case was damaged in transit and was unsalvageable. Luckily for me I never planned to keep them in the case so that was not to big of a deal.
