Awesome for punch!
I bought this to have decent sized pieces of ice in our punch bowl. They were fantastic. Easy to fill - I just ran water into the holes. The funnels provided took forever. They were nearly 100% spherical and big. I used all six of the ice balls in the punch bowl. I made another batch, but didn't need them. I forgot to take a picture of them, but will do so when I empty the second batch. It's a pretty cool system. Easy to use. Removing the ice was a bit of an effort, but it prived how well the seal was around them. I highly recommend these!

solid ice sphere
I read some reviews and decided to try it anyway, mine worked really well took a little longer to freeze because I’m in a motorhome but that’s fine. I also had a little bigger funnel that fit in the tiny hole above the silicone side. I filled them up till I saw water at the top of the hole., I waited two days, took them out, turned it upside down or the silicone on the bottom. The clear top came right off the ice balls or then stuck in the silicone with my nail. I pushed down a few places on the side of the silicone ball so it could get some air in it . they came out very easily and they seem to be very solid now I’m just going to see how long they last in a stainless steel vacuum mug, smaller ice cubes have been lasting two full days , by the way, the blue silicone part has like a suction cup around the spheres so the white or clear plastic part should come right off.

Good quality
I love the big balls, the quality is good, easy to get the ice balls out if you let it sit on your counter for 10-15 minutes. A little time, consuming filling it with water since the hole in the top is so small.

Frustrating product but it's makes nice balls
I'll break this down into multiple parts: Final product is great (4.8/5). The ice balls fit snuggly into my Stanley and last forever. For this reason alone, I chose to keep the mold and disfigured it to make it easier to use. Filling the mold is a complete pain in the ass (1/5). The funnel provided is tiny, drains very slowly and doesn't allow air to escape as water is poured in; so it clogs and doesn't fill at all. A worthless addition. Pouring directly into the holes has the same issue. Filling the plastic part and putting the mold on gives you half-cylinder ice cubes, which is not what I want and not what they're advertising. To solve the problem, I cut the holes in the silicone part of the mold much wider. This made filling it much easier and faster. This solution is ugly and shouldn't have been required in the first place. It's obvious the product was sold before proper testing. The garbage plastic funnel is further evidence. But if you don't mind cutting ugly-ass holes, or if you have a steadier hand than myself, this fix works well. Removing the iceballs from the mold (2/5). You have to either let the silicone part sit out for a bit to let the ice melt a little, or yank the hell out of the ice balls and risk tearing the silicone. I've used it for a few months and it hasn't torn yet, but it is only a matter of time. TL;DR For a few bucks, I have a disfigured mold that I have to risk destroying each time I remove the ice balls.. but I am left with some pretty good ice cube balls. Giving this a 3/5 is generous, but I will keep using it until it breaks.

Ice Balls
Excellent ice makers. They keep drinks good and cold for long periods of time.

well made
Very well made and easy to use. The silicone is soft and pliable which aids in release. Made OJ frozen "oranges" for mimosas and they looked beautiful in the glass.

Well-constructed, good-looking ice-ball maker
I got this to make ice-balls for use in cocktails, especially Old Fashioned. Whenever I have been served in a bar with such an ice-ball, it adds weight to the drink and makes it that much more enjoyable. This item was highly rated and reasonably priced. I got it yesterday and got around to using it right away. The make feels solid, with a clear hard plastic bottom, and a colored soft rubber top. It came with two small funnels to pour water in to make the ice-ball. Filling this up with water was not as easy as I thought. You have to close the top-and-bottom and pour water in. But I found the funnels were not very useful. When I poured water in through them, they would start overflowing without letting water get inside properly. Maybe I had to pour the water very slowly to allow the trapped air to escape while letting water in. In any case, I gave up the funnel, and poured water directly into the holes. This was much faster, but led to more spillage and the whole thing becoming wet (which affects things later). Once filled, I placed the tray in the freezer. The solid bottom made it easy to carry the tray, and the soft top closed snugly enough that there was no leak or spill. It felt solid. This morning, I took the tray out to see how the ice-balls came out. The top or bottom would not open up readily though. Part of it was due to the earlier spilled water freezing around the edges, locking up the tray. I gently pounded around the edges to loosen that ice and tried to pry open the tray. Some parts came apart more easily than others, and it took a bit of wrestling to pull everything out. This was harder than I would have liked. It seems the soft top gets too snug around the ice-ball so you have to tug hard at it to release the ball. The bottom is too hard to flex much which makes it tougher to wiggle the balls out. Despite these issues, I feel this is a pretty solid tray and will do its job well. I need to get more used to filling the water properly and wriggling the ice-balls out.

For real Scotch drinkers only, this product is a gem. Bought one for my father in law as well.

Good to have 2 funnels. But they are a bit small and you need to pour into water very slowly.

Mold Cracked after 2 months. Got 10 mediocre ice balls out of it :( Waste of $$$

This is a cost effective option if you are looking at purchasing an Ice Ball Maker. There are other options out there which allow for a better final product in terms of the ice balls. This does however allow for 6 ice balls to be made quite quickly in a compact design mold.
