Left me with a "meh" kind of feeling.
Definitely not my favorite book in the Predators series. (Seems like no one will be able to top Ice & Grace's story, Riot.)Overall, the book left me with a "meh" kind of feeling. I liked certain parts of it but it wasn't unputdownable or exciting... it was sort of forgettable.*****COULD BE SLIGHTLY SPOILER-ISH*****One of the major problems for me... There was no sizzle factor. Plain & simple, Stump & Zoey lacked chemistry. I liked them as friends but wasn't convinced that they made a great match, romantically speaking.Stump- I liked how blunt he was with people & that he hung out as friends with Zoey for a month or so (although we hardly got any details on it) but geez... His train of thought seemed to go from "Man, this chick is an annoying kook" to "I wanna make love with the woman I love" in two seconds flat. I did love learning the real meaning behind his nickname though. It makes him a bit sexier in my mind. Can we say role-playing fantasy, please?Zoey- I liked that she was a bit "out there" & she was sweet but I didn't feel a strong connection with her character. The living with monks thing explains some scenes but had me rolling my eyes too. And for heaven's sake, if your man was in bed with another woman & her hands & naked boobs were all over him, please make him disinfect himself before you let him touch you! What I wasn't expecting but really liked:*Ginny- Although her part in the story left a BIG plot line in cliffhanger mode, I was thrilled to bits to get so much of her in this book. Her new job & that plot line cliffhanger are already weaving her back in with The Last Riders! YAY!! Can't wait to see her back in Treepoint & the moment she meets her love interest! Hoping it's... *zips lips**Greer- He is ALWAYS a scene-stealer in each book he appears in & this book was no different. Although I was supremely upset with Penni & Zoey for putting him in the position they did, I was happy to see him in Queen City because he is such an AMAZING character. Disappointed that we didn't learn about the outcome of what he did though...*Creed- This new-to-us Predator was pretty intriguing. Hoping we hear more about him in the future! What I needed but didn't get:*Better editing- The amount of incorrect words, wrong verb tenses & jumbled-up names was very distracting. It's "splayed legs", not "spayed legs". It's "he nudged her", not "her nudged her". It's Jackal, not Jakal & it's Cole, not Colt.*Baby news- Didn't get it for my favorite couple in the Predators series & got confirmation that my favorite couple in The Last Riders series wasn't expecting yet either. Grr...*More of Dalton Andrews, Grace's dad- It was stated on social media that he will be getting a book in 2018 but with not even a mention of him in this book, I'm left wondering if that'll even happen...*Hot sex- The scene we got between Stump & Zoey was awkward & seemed more clinical than sexy. Even the one scene with Stump & a club w**** was lacking. (See creamy p**** note below too.) I'm a greedy b****. I wanted quantity AND quality. :)What I got but didn't want:*That weird Shade & Stump set-up- Didn't understand that one bit. It wasn't necessary, so why do it? Just because it gives Shade an extra scene, doesn't mean it should be in the book.*The term creamy p****- The word creamy should NEVER be used to describe a p****. In no way is that sexy. It makes it sound like the girl has an infection down there. While Stalked won't be a regular on my Jamie Begley re-read rotation, it IS a must-read for fans of the entire Last Riders/VIP/Biker B****es/Predators/Porter saga. If you don't know all the details in this one, chances are you'll be confused when the next book releases!

GOOD
This review may have some spoilers, because I just can't review without mentioning what's bothered me. I tried to be abstract, but not sure if I got it. So, if you don't wanna spoilers stop reading after stars. Just now in all it was pretty good read for me. Stump and Zoey they had their own charm. And it was nice to not only meet Predators again, but The Last Riders and even Porter.☆☆☆☆☆I was confused about Zoey abilities. And if you meet Porters, you know what I'm talking about. I love those twists in books. But concidering what Zoey can do, you would think she can recognise the true people behind the mask. Sometimes she got it, sometimes she was blindsided. I didn't get it. Maybe it just me?Stump was just typical Predator or even TLR. Trying to ingore/pretend/escape/fight his feelings for h. And there was moment, when I think needed a bit of work. Meaning it was just too fast change from 'I'm attracted. But it wouldn't last long' to 'I love you'. Stump said he was trying to show her how he felt for a month and half, and maybe if this was shown instead of told, I may felt different about the change. And his plan with Shades help related to Zoey... It needed elaboration, because I wasn't sure about it. I mean I got an idea, what it was about, but it just needed more, because it felt, like I walked in the middle of theirs talk.Stalker... He was ok, well, not ok, but you know what I mean lol, until we got to his reasons for stalking Zoey. And that was confusing to me too. It felt like a base for another book and I understand when authors do it and love it, but in this case it just didn't blend in with this story and felt like unfinished business at the end.

Pleasant Surprise
When I heard this book was coming out and who it was about and that it was a Predators book I wasn't overly excited. First of all, I didn't even remember Stump and secondly, the Predators are not my favorite series of books. I figured it would be entertaining but I've been disappointed with the Predators series in the past so I wasn't in that big of a hurry to read this book. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised to be wrong about a book. I loved it! The characters of Stump and Zoey are so clearly laid out. They are complete opposites from each other. Stump is a member of the Predators MC. He's grumpy with an "I don't care" attitude. Zoey is a friend of Penni and Grace who has the office across from theirs.. She's like the poster child of positivity and goodness. When their paths collide they don't they don't like each other but when events unfold which place Zoey in danger, and by association, Penni and Grace as well, the Predators, Stump in particular, step up to keep everyone safe. Inevitably, opposites attract and it is the most satisfying journey to love I've read in a while. I love the way they are with each other. I especially love how well Stump reads her and calls her out on her feelings. I was also surprised at how honest and straightforward he was with his feelings. It was really refreshing to read. And then there are Zoey's letters to her mother which open most of the chapters. They were heartbreaking and made me want to cry and they added so much to the story. I have to say that this is by far the best of the Predators books and for me, one of the best Jamie Begley books period. I would definitely recommend this book.

What’s happening?
The best thing about this book is the cover. How come, so many 5* reviews? What is happening with JB’s books? I’m a huge fan, have read every single one of her books and tbh, neither Rider’s revenge nor Stalked read like any her previous books. Those too, read like someone else wrote them.Apart from so many editing errors, there seems to be no real structure to the story. Too many characters involved. All of her MC book characters make a tiny, mostly unnecessary appearance in this book. Like we need to be reminded of them. It read to much like filling. Word count reached, there, done!I personally really didn’t like this book, it felt rushed. I was disappointed and think that this is the last Jamie Begley book for me.😞

Disappointed...
The first chapter of Stalked started off with a bang and I was hooked, but my excitement soon dwindled as I continued reading and felt like I had to force myself to finish a Jamie Begley book.So little was known about Stump from the previous Predator books and I was interested to get to know him better, but I came away after I finished reading like I still learnt nothing about his character, his past or his family life. As Zoey’s character was new I couldn’t get that invested in her at first as the connection was missing, but afterwards I liked her and could empathise with her pain and need to help others. I think with the book being dropped out of the blue that also dampened the excitement for this release on top of not expecting Stump to have a story to tell. I think I would have preferred for Moon’s book to have been released before Stump’s, but I think this book was a filler for another character's future storyline and I can say I 'am very excited to see that happen as I love that character.I felt like this book was underdeveloped and lacked depth to the characters lives and left many questions unanswered, like a puzzle uncompleted due to the raw jigsaw pieces refusing to gel together. I loved that we got more Penni and Jackal but I kept having questions at the back of my mind, like who the hell looked after their daughter Wylie whilst Penni was at work, and Jackal was with the Predators?! I found questions like this holding me back with the story and I was unable to focus on the words in front of me, I mean it’s the little details that add to the character’s lives and delivers a much richer story. I mean we didn’t even get a scene with their daughter which added to the disappointment of this book. There was also lot of characters in Stalked to get familiar with and the constant reuse of the same C/G letter for a character added to confusion, and made it difficult to connect to their individuality.I felt that Stump’s hating Zoey one minute to loving her unbelievable. I could understand that he knew what he was looking for in a woman and that he was selective but JB failed to show the stages of how he fell in love with her. Chapter 18 all I’m going to say is I was upset for Zoey and mad as hell at her for the lack of self-respect and non-existent reaction she showed to what she came upon. Seriously I wish JB would please stop writing these scenes of weak women who are too accepting/forgiving of the men’s hurtful actions. It’s overdone and I am so over it.My favorite parts of the book belong to Roo/Buster aka Hannibal the daschund dog, who proudly wore Stump’s property patch lol! His scenes were so hilarious and JB as always knows how to deliver humour to her stories. I also loved Greer’s scenes who was his usual cocky annoying self, and Creed really interested me!I love your work JB but please for the sake of fans read our reviews and take them into consideration, because poor editing continues to be unaddressed or corrected with each new release, and I totally don’t get why, like seriously why? This influences me to rate the book low, and spoils the read when words are missing to complete the sentence, or the wrong name is used like one minute its Cole then its Colt. I just don’t understand the logic of why mistakes are not picked up by your beta readers/editor, or if you have them. I want quality over quantity every time. The epilogue yeah I actually cried, it was emotional and beautiful but before I could really capture all of those joyful feelings of a reunion for Zoey, JB cut it off and lost a damn star in rating! This isn’t the first time JB has ruined an epilogue for me, I just don’t understand why as an author she wouldn’t capitalize on delivering an epic epilogue that did the characters justice, and finished a book strong leaving fans happy instead of cutting off/not including scenes and leaving them disappointed and making me feel like the whole story I read was worthless. This about sums up all my feelings and thoughts about Stalked...

I'm so disappointed that I'm actually really gutted
I actually don't know where to start with this or how to start it. I'm so disappointed that I'm actually really gutted. Jamie is my favourite MC author's out there, I love her work and her unique writing style that has made me fall in love with her books and her as a author. Every one of her books has been a 5* read for me but this book felt to me like it was wrote by a completly different author. Jamie's signature style was nowhere to be seen and the book was all over the place. I rarely write bad reviews, I will sometimes as I know sometimes all types of reviews are needed, but especially if it's a author I love I just find it really hard to do. But with this book I felt I had to write this review. Apart from it been far apart from this authors other work it was full of typo's, just general mistakes, and felt like it had been rushed which meant the whole story was lacking. The characters had no depth and weren't connectable, I just feel like I've stepped into another authors work and not Jamie's and if you've read any of this authors other MC books then you'll see where I'm coming from.It was full of weak writing and for that I fell like I needed to write this review. I really hope that by the next book this author goes back to the style of all her other books as if the next book is like this one I won't be buying anymore and that really upsets me even writing that as this authors work has got me through some really low times.

Better than last few books but still missing something
While the basis for this story was enjoyable I don't feel we really got to know much about the characters. It was well over halfway through the book before they became romantically involved but it all seemed very surface. I also didn't like the way they did get together. A "set up" that didn't seem all that set up?!I also found it quite unbelievable that Stump becomes office boy to his brother's old lady and is happy working for a band, doesn't exactly fit the MC image. There seemed to be many "guest" appearances of other JB characters. While this can be fun to get a catch up it seemed quite random and then the main point of one of them being there never got explained fully. Did it work????I personally felt this book was more of filler leading up to Ginny/Gennys book. The stalker aspect in this appeared, disappeared and reappeared but didn't have a satisfactory outcome. Also the same problem as the last few books has arisen again and that is poor editing. I think Jamie needs some new or at least some more beta readers as it does take you out of the flow when words are missing or wrong.

What a story!!!
In fact everyone Jamie writes is a masterpiece plus it helps that I love every single character, I can't help feeling though that this particular couple could have been expanded on a little bit more i know Ginny will probably carry on with her own story and am about to read Dustin's story when I'm done with this review but I would've loved a bit more interaction with Zoey and Stump and the characters at the end as I found it ended a bit abruptly and was like "wow!" Thinking I'd missed some pages, but anyways it was still a great read and Hannibal aka Buster cracked me up especially when he kept legging it and oh my God can you get a dog jacket with spikes on it???? I could just see him in my minds eye, a little bit of fluff looking hard and being carried around by a giant pmsl. Anyway folks I've not given anything up because I do use some reviews to aid in my decision to purchase future books and hate when they spoil it for you by telling all the important info and it also drives me nuts when people buy certain stories knowing they can read the blurb along with the warnings of whether it is suitable for age appropriate readers or whether it has certain triggers involved and so on..... and yet you still read reviews saying how disgusted they were of the content and how vulgar and blah blah blah even though the warnings are there and they end up trashing a great book and author just because they could i find it really unfair to the author so to all the easily offended DipS***s out there, if you see a half naked man who is totally fit or a scantily clad female draped across the Harley Davidson on the cover YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE READING ABOUT SPOT THE EFFIN DOG, Hannibal maybe, but Spot, NO!!!!! I mean if they can read then I'm sure they can Read between the lines right??????? Anywho the story was fabulous and it is definitely worth your time and money, Thanks again Jamie. X 🐩🐕
