Yes, it has a very pleasant fragrance

Q: How much should I apply for medium length hair? My hair is neither too dry nor too oily

It doesn't take much, maybe about nickel size. My hair is lightened and this works well and doesn't weight it down. The container usually last me about a year, but I only use it when I press my hair, which is every couple months.

Q: Is this the same as hask argan hot oil hair treatment sold in tube w/twist off cap with an orange colored liquid gel consistency or is an oil?

It's silicon based. Not hot oil treatment, more of a finisher for frizz and shine
