Works great
These little thermometers are great! I put on in my bathroom, one in the living room, and another in a bedroom to measure temp and humidity. The one I have in the room with my humidifier gives the same measurements as my humidifier does telling me they’re accurate as well. I opened the box and took out the plastic tab and they were ready to use!

Accurate and Attractive
I am disabled. One of my symptoms is regulating my body temperature. Often times it will feel like my apartment is 88 degrees. I will actually be sweating. Yet, outdoors, it may be 20 degrees. And, my thermostat is set between 74-78 degrees. So, I use these to help monitor my body temp (and also check the humidity level of my apartment). Like an airplane pilot who has been taught to 'trust their gauges' when conditions are poor, I trust these temperature gauges when my body temp conditions are poor. A year ago, I had bought a different brand. I was comparing the temps of the two. This set of gauges was always about two degrees warmer than the first set I bought. I WRONGLY assumed that my older ones were more accurate that my new ones. I was assuming incorrectly. I base this on comparing both sets of gauges with my brand new digital thermostat for my apartment. This newer model has always read in accordance with the display of my thermostat. So, out with the old, and in with the new. The built-in stand for them works great. The display is BIG enough, I just wish it was a bit brighter. That would make it easier for my old eyes (I'm 60 y.o.) to see. However, much needed new eye-glasses will probably help with that. These gauges are inexpensive yet the quality is excellent!

Accurate
Very accurate. A bit smaller than I imagined. Hard to read if not within 10 feet of unit. Not something to read from across the room. Great for a desktop or kitchen counter.

Buy something else.
Too small, no backlight, variable readings, just junk. No recommendations from me. It would be easier to see the readings if it had a backlight. I do not recommend this.
