5.11 Tactical Men's Performance Short Sleeve Polo, 100% Polyester, Moisture Wicking, Style 71049

I purchased 8 pairs of Defender Flex Jeans and 7 Performance Polo shirts by 5.11 mostly fulfilled by Amazon but two of the items were shipped directly from the seller. I received my items on time and the seller reached out to me to ensure my satisfaction. I am very happy to find the Defender Flex jeans listed on Amazon now. The 5.11 website is not clear on the sizing and a little frustrating to wade through the product catalogue. the nearby 5.11 store is across the metro area and only stocks a small selection of the 5.11 product line. I am now blind and have to take uber with my kids so hauling back with a big load of clothes would be a pain. I have been interested in these jeans because everything from 5.11 is designed for an active life for people who work in the Armed Services, Civil Services, Self-Defense and Security Professions I am a life long martial arts student who found it difficult in recent years to keep up my workouts with restrictive clothing and two kids. I ordered my jeans just slightly larger in the waist so they would be a little baggy but I can tell I wouldn't have needed too. They flex well and don't bind my legs. the first thing I did was get down in the floor and move through some yoga postures and the jeans moved just fine, then went into the kitchen and threw some clumsy kicks above the waist and I could kick to chest level without feeling any pulling or restriction from the jeans. This will allow me to jump right in and do drills whenever I suddenly find I have a few moments without looking for workout clothes and loosing the time I had. the Jeans have a single mag pocket on each side of the hip located between the rear pocket and front pocket and in the same position one might wear a mag pouch in. this pocket is not sized for pistol mags as it leaves a lot of room for a single .45 or 9mm mag. It is sized for an AR-15 mag as that fits perfectly, comfortably and securely while standing and sitting. the wearer might be able to fit two .45 mags in the pocket with more security or with a mag pouch slipped into the pocket. One of the pockets will be covered by a hip holster if that is what you wear but placing them on either side allows for right handed or left handed shooters. the performance Polo is made from a semi-stretch fabric that allows for sudden large movements as it was designed to be. The appearance and quality of the shirt is superior to many other polos but at the same price. it's equipped with a pen pocket on the left shoulder for a stylus, pen or pen light, shoulder loops for oh, I forget and a loop at the bottom of the buttons that perfectly and securely holds your body cam. Other polo's don't have these features. the fabric is thick enough and elastic enough that if a hip holster were worn it slips right off the weapon for a sudden clear and present movement but the cut of the shirt is a hip hugger so it will print anything you are wearing there. Otherwise it's. great shirt that looks professional, feels comfortable and doesn't bind your movement...and it's a polo you can put your body cam on with.

Husband is a big fan of the brand and says the quality is worth the money. The clothes last longer than others and fit him better.

The best quality money can buy, comfortable, great flexibility of the material and long life.

I've been wearing Taclite Pro pants & shorts for years. I'm a firm believer in on-person carry, and my pockets are filled to the brim with essential items for my day-to-day life. My work allows me to wear cargo pants, and even shorts, so I've worked out a edc system around these pants. With a good duty belt, I personally use Blue Alpha Gear belts, these pants/shorts comfortably hold 7-8lbs of gear. This particular model was first introduced to me by my EMS friends, who wore these as on duty pants. I currently have 6 pairs of Taclite Pro pants, and this recent purchase brings me to 3 pairs of shorts. The oldest pair has lasted me coming close to 4 years. Yes they have a few holes in them from abrasion and wear, & the water resistance has become worse, but for pants that sold for $30-40, these are awesome. Not only do I wear them for work, but I've done week long backpacking trips in these. If you are looking for a pair of inexpensive cargo/tactical pants, these are my primary recommendation. BUT, I have 2 major issue with these. For every pair I've bought after 5.11 changed productions, all of the stitching ends were loose. Since 5.11 has made these more expensive, now around $50 for shorts, it'd be great if they'd either tie off the stitching ends or burn the ends, so the stitch don't unravel with use. You can distinguish the old production from the new production from the zipper snap. The design for the snap button above the zipper has changed to a simpler design, just 5.11 & their logo to the right, with the new production. From rotating through the pairs I own, I've realized that the new production pairs have varying tolerances. I don't know if this is an issue with their Quality Control, or if it's tolerable with the company. Especially for the front right thigh pocket (the small one up front), on some pairs, the pocket is wider, on other pairs the pocket is deeper. This is the pocket I keep my phone in, and in the older production pants/shorts, my IPhone7 w/ OtterBox Commuter case will fit perfectly. But with the new productions, there is varying slop with each pair I wear. This could be said with other pockets, but the most noticeable ones for me is this one and the front left thigh pocket (the small one w/ velcro closure).

Far superior to any knock-off. Heavy Duty and rugged with classic fit and style. Buy real, get real quality.

Great shirt very comfortable

Shirt is very comfortable. Provides the great quality one expects with 5.11. The shirt isn’t flimsy, but thickness isn’t cumbersome. Fits true to size, athletic cut. Easy to clean and a nice color. Got this on sale and is a great value for a high quality polo. Can dress it up or down.

To be honest, I truly appreciate the pant version, since I wore them for over 15 years at work and now wear them at my retirement job. I got tired of paying high prices for inferior name brand shorts and low prices for inferior cargo shorts at the big box type stores, I have loved these cargo/tactical shorts. The deep rear pockets are nice. I have them in black, the brown and gray. They have lasted over 4 years. Even my wife was impressed as they held their color and look good with a Tee, camp shirt or flannel. I appreciate the flex waistband, as my weight fluctuates at my age during BBQ seasons and holidays. They are even nicer during Amazon Prime sales events.

Sehr gute Qualität, trocknet schnell, bequem zu tragen! Wenn man das Hemd in die Hand nimmt, kommt es einem eher schwer vor, trägt sich aber doch leicht. Ob die Applikationen für Mikros sinnvoll/praktisch sind kann ich nich beurteilen, die Schlaufe unter den Knöpfen eignet sich auch gut für die Sonnenbrille. Vom Schnitt her gut, egal ob man sich gerade bewegt oder nicht. Gibt an den richtigen Stellen nach. Zur Farbe habe LE Green gewählt, düs ist ein dunkles Grün, ähnlich wie die Alten Polizeiuniformen (LE = law enforcement?).

Nothing to dislike, chuffed that I could go a size down too.
