Bosom Bandit Breast Support Wrap

I bought this product prior to having shoulder surgery. I was warned in advance that I would not be able to wear a bra for about 2 months after surgery and I can't comfortably go without some support. I bought one of these, and it was OK, but not nearly as good for my purposes as another product--Expand-a-Band Breast Binder. The Expand-a-Band is often used by women who have hd breast surgery. It looks like a rather plain bustier and comes in a variety of colors and patterned designs. It is wide enough to cover you from waist to underarms and has velcro on the ends. I felt much more comfortable with the product and it was pretty enough that you could wear an open shirt over it. I wore them for the 2 month period and was glad to have them. If you are a nursing mother trying to wean your baby, this Belly Bandit/Bosom Bandit might be right for you, but it you are facing breast or chest or shoulder surgery, I would go with the Expand-a-Band.

I am a C-cup, pre-pregnancy and about s-m size overall. I got this band with the anticipation of using it after/finishing breastfeeding, and I cannot say I even used it once. Because it's one flat, long rectangular band..nice material, but...one long, flat band, and it just does not fit a curvy figure. As soon as I put it on, it either slid right up to my upper chest above the breasts, or slid under the breasts...no support. I think it might work really well for B-cup maybe, but not c-cup or bigger. I found using a very tight sports bra to be much better help. Get a very good, tight sports bra (to the point you have a hard time "getting into" it) and it will serve you with better support than this band that is not contoured. I think if it's shaped a little for a fuller figure, it will be a great item. it's made of nice material..I wish I could've used it. It just didn't stay on.
