Q: Does it support Ryzen 5000 series out of the box?

OP is correct. This board will not support 5900 series, however some older series such as 5600 will run out of the box. Flashing the BIOS or using an older gen Ryzen to update it is needed to support.

I purchased this board and came with A20 bios not compatible with my 5600x updated bios and everything now works 🙂

Q: What psu does this need?

PSU would depend on the CPU and Graphics card you have installed. Generally, 750-850w is the sweet spot to give you plenty of power headroom. depending on the Graphics card/CPU you have. Remember, Power is DRAWN not given from the PSU. That means if a product needs 100w and you have a 850u, it will only draw 100w. Graphics cards are what eat your PSU power, as they range from 150-350w alone. Fans and AIO coolers. are also included in your power consumption. so remember that. Always leave plenty of headroom. for upgrades or power spikes. ( Especially if you're lucky enough to have a RTX 30XX CARD)
