My best board so far
Bought this as an upgrade from my Atom board and although it’s more expensive it’s been well worth the money. The deck is fantastic and super flexible, (make sure you choose the correct deck for your weight) the Paris trucks are very responsive and the Orangatang wheels are truely amazing. The Atom is a great board but the Loaded Vanguard is several notches above!This is not a down hill speed freaks choice though, this board is totally for cruising, carving and slopes. It surfs. Can’t recommend this more highly!

Amazing board and amazing company
First off the stock photos don't do this beautiful board justice. The Otang wheels with the black on gold Paris trucks look fantastic. Also, the board assembly was spot on and I only had to tighten up the trucks a bit because I'm a fatty. As for the board itself, it turns like butter and the wheels eat cracks and rough spots for breakfast. Getting used to the flex was kind of weird at first, it felt like a trampoline with wheels on it. Once you get the hang of it though you'll be Carverd grad in no time. I will definitely be buying from Performance Longboarding again.

Worth every cent.
Outstanding longboard! It really is a carving system. The flex 3 deck allows for smooth and responsive carves that work in conjunction with the Paris trucks. Along with the Otang Kegel wheels and this board is an absolute monster truck. Not only that, the vanguard deck absorbs the shock from rough terrain. This board truly reminds me of snowboarding (which is what the board is modeled after). I would definitely recommend for fun carving and commuting.

which is excellent for my weight and where I use it
Loaded bamboo boards are top-notch. I purchased this as a Flex 1, which is excellent for my weight and where I use it. I also have this same Vanguard board in the 38" 3 Flex config, which I find a rather different kind of ride, but still just as awesome. The longer board with stiffer flex is definitely meant for long sweeping carves down empty hills, whereas the shorter version (still long at 38") is definitely preferable for any sort of flats riding where you need more agility, like on campus. Awesome boards that never seem to stop rolling.
