Really well built for the money, I was pleasantly surprised. This is the first after market controller for the Switch that I've seen that is anywhere close to the spec of the official Pro controller or joy cons. It advertises that it has NFC support, motion control AND rumble - and to me that was practically unheard of at half the price of the official Pro pad so I was slightly cynical but it really does! The NFC antenna seems to located slightly off-centre above the red thumbstick but it's sensitive enough that it picks up NFC tags if you just center them over the lion logo on the pad. The rumble feels a little different than the joycons, perhaps I'd just call it 'rumble' rather than 'hd rumble', but it's not bad and definitely does the job and I really liked the fact that you can turn the rumble amount up and down by holding the Turbo button and pressing the left analogue stick up or down, and it gives instant feedback on the current setting level. If you look at the photo's you can see that the rumble motors are the newer linear vibration style, the slimline coin-cell format, and they're placed next to some solid weights with a little dampening foam. This gives the controller a reassuring and well balance weight. The analogue sticks are the ones I much prefer, the pro/gamecube style ones, rather than the slimline joycon style ones that are more prone to drift. The outer grip element as a subtle dimpled texture too, which helps with grip and makes it look a bit more premium. Overall it's a really nice, full featured, controller especially when compared against the cost of the Pro.I managed to fish using the rumble feedback in ACNH, which is always a good testing ground, the NFC reader worked fine for inviting amiibos to the camp site too. As someone who does copious amounts of fishing in animal crossing too, the 'Turbo' button made the whole purchase almost worthwhile on it's own as it saved so much infuriating button mashing during crafting, particularly whole stacks of fish bait!

This controller is amazing! I bought this with caution, as it seemed impossible that such a cheap controller could have so many features, and still feel comfortable. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! It has clean, modern packaging to draw your attention to the fab product inside. The controller is very easy on the eyes and hands! Before now, I would have said that the Wii U pro controller was the best out there, but I think this takes the lead. It has everything that you would need in a controller AND MORE! I play a lot of Smash and Zelda, so the inclusion of NFC was much appreciated! Turbo mode is handy for crafting huge amounts of fish bait at a time in Animal Crossing, and the ability to change the speed of it is brilliant! The adjustable rumble feature was also a surprise, I hadn’t realised it had it when buying. It fits the switch theme with the red and blue accents, and the rest of the colour scheme fits perfectly. It uses USB C to charge, so it’s compatible with most wires/ charging stations made today. The only issue with this controller is that the buttons are a tad louder than the joycons, but it has a much more distinct, satisfying click. It also has a wake up feature, which, on paper might not be significant, but it makes getting right into a gaming session very easy. Overall, this is a great controller to have and a much better deal than the official pro-controller, with way more abilities!

So I have recently signed up to the Xbox Xcloud gaming service. And I have been looking for a suitable game pad. I tried the PlayStation 4 controller but it doesn’t work with the Xbox games.So I found this and it instantly connected to my android device. So easy to play with and the only difference is the buttons are opposite on the A/B and X/Y. Otherwise it is perfect.It works nicely and the controller feels really nice to hand actually nicer than the PS4 controller.I have been additive to this. It also has a turbo button which I have not figured out how to use.I do really like it and definitely recommend it.

It's a little confusing the situation I have had with this controller. I ordered the one and within a week it suddenly stopped working so I got sent another one without charge or having to send the first one back and it worked fine for a week but then I got bored and stopped playing on the Switch for a while and I went back on it a month later to check something and the controller didn't work. It is a shame because it is the best switch controller I've had (I've tried many different ones because I can't find one that I like since my Pro Controller stopped working, and I'm sure that it's not a problem with battery power because I kept the controller plugged in for the majority of time over the month that I wasn't using it. It is a useful controller if you play games that work with amiibo like Animal Crossing New Horizons, which not a lot of controllers do unfortunately, but this little bit of convenience isn't worth the trouble of having to be sent multiple new copies because the battery is defective. It still gets 3 stars though for being the nicest to use controller I have ever had, while I could...

It's way better than you'd think, yeah it looks cheap but it feels good to hold and appears fairly robust.It's a great full function alternative to official controller, having wake from sleep and a decent gyro was most important to me which are present here. I was skeptical and bought when I saw cheap but it is value at full price.I am impressed with accuracy of gyro and analogue sticks, the buttons have a good feel.The D pad is good for 2d stuff my one criticism is there isn't a central pivot on the dpad which is my preference when using dpad for fighting games but I've not had any particular issue pulling off moves.Awesome time with rise demo!

半年ほどで、スティックの調子が悪くなりました。

使っていたコントローラーが壊れたので、日本語レビューがありませんでしたが試しに購入してみました。意外と持ちやすいですし、とりあえず使えるレベルだとは思いますが、メインのボタンは多少クリック感がありますがボタン自体は安っぽいです。アナログは普通。個人的にはあと１ミリは高さをおさえて欲しいが一般的にはこうなんですかね。ただ、LやR等のボタンは昔のノートパソコンのような感触で、軽く反力もあまりないようなタイプなんで好みが別れるかもしれません。あと、パッケージには日本語の商品名が書かれていて説明書も日本語ページがあります。ただし、説明書の文字はかなり小さいので読むのは辛いです。本体のスリーブ解除もコントローラーからできます。でも、ホームボタン以外を押しただけでコントローラーの電源が入ったりするので持ち運びとかは注意が必要かも。買ったばかりなので耐久性は不明です。
