Works as new equipment

Surprisingly, this works with our Regency model HV-BN fan. The remote has 4 dipswitches, and we took our fan apart to find dipswitch settings, but it had none. So I took a chance buying this remote. Left the remote at the factory default and followed instructions in the package, minus Step 4 about setting dipswitches, and it worked perfectly! Now our fan that was only running in reverse without any way to turn off the light works again with SIX speeds. I had to search high and low for this remote and got no response from the distributor after multiple attempts to content them over four months, so this worked and hopefully will keep someone else from having to do so much work.

It actually works better than the original remote that came from the mfg.

Perfect replacement and $70 less than the OEM remote.
