AirNav Radar FlightStick VHF - Airband USB Receiver with Integrated Filter, Amplifier and ESD Protection

There are a ton of negative reviews here, and I'll say for sure this is not plug-n-play in anyway. The git repository had just been taken over by another author and the documentation is pretty murky. It took me about 2 hours to comb through and finally get the steps I needed to get this going on a Raspberry Pi but I am now feeding audio to radarbox with minimal issue. Some audio is surrounded by static but once the weather breaks and I can install this outside I am sure that issue will resolve itself. If you would say your technical and troubleshooting abilities are at or below average, I wouldn't try to set this up yet. Keep an eye on the github repo and once that and the radarbox site install instructions become more clear then go for it.

i am moderately good with computers and have used these dongles before with zero difficulty. this product is defective, you cannot use it with the plastic case on you have to remove it then pass air over it because it overheats and stops working. this one did not even work once and im not even sure if i can return it because i threw out the plastic case it came in. what a shame.

Sobre pasa las expectativas en cuanto a su capacidad para captar diversas frecuencias radiales. No es tan sencilla de instalar en el raspberry pi siguiendo los pasos del fabricante se presentan problemas de configuración que hay que ir corrigiendo, por otro lado es muy fácil de instalar en Windows

Absolutely the worst I have ever experience. Had to wait two months for approval, then had to remind them that I requested approval. Tried all the technical knowledge I have to get it working. Never got any response from the unit. AirNav Systems need a dependable support hot desk to assist users in setting up this device

Limited instructions available. RadarBox website recognizes when VHF stick is connected. Never streams any audio. Have tried both Raspberry Pi and Widows configurations. No local audio. Runs excessively HOT. No customer technical support available. Quote"Unfortunately we cannot help you at the moment as the technical team along with other collaborators are testing the new stick. Please stay alert to news and ask your questions in the WhatsApp group" A waste of $25!!

This USB stick is deaf compared to others that I have. I expected more of from it; not less! Returning...

The WORST Product I have ever bought on Amazon, DOES'T WORK at all. does nothing on three of my computers, the company's website support can't be contacted, it is impossible to log in, you can't even buy something!!!! i will never buy anything from them.... and i want my money back!!!!

Leider wie zum Teil auf Englisch beschrieben. Der Stick empfängt nichts und ist defekt. Weder über den PI noch über MAC oder Windows PC konfigurierbar. Keine Chance, dann lieber 10€ weniger ausgeben und was anderes nutzen. (Gilt nur für den Artikel und nicht für die Software von AirNav /Radarbox)

Device is detected in both linux and windows and SDR software sees receiver but no signal is received, have tried different software, different frequencies, different antennas and all get the same result of no signal coming through, other SDR dongles work on the same setups. I have tried contacting the seller but got no response, the help on their website is useless. I am guessing that its a build quality issue and that the bandpass filter or LNA is broken.

Faktem jest, że konfiguracja nie jest tak prosta, jak jest to opisane na stronie https://www.radarbox.com/sharing-vhf Opis tam jest bardzo lakoniczny. Mam wrażenie, że proponowany sposób instalacji nie działa właściwie i brak jest pomocy w tym zakresie na oficjalnej stronie RadarBox.
