Perfect for multi-cat households
Great product. Works well for multi cat households. I have one cat that digs to the bottom of the pan to urinate, then covers it. It makes it tougher to scoop with traditional scoopers, but this one makes it easier. One issue: the rubber covering begins to loosen and turn after some time. Other than that, excellent scooper. Long lasting. My second time purchasing this item in several years.

Best tool for the job!
So you dig for buried treasure too,eh? Well if you are using one of those plastic handled shovels you might as well be using a spork from a food place. We all know that sometimes when cleaning the box that you wonder when did the elephant slip into your house and use the box? Or does your fur child seem to be peeing as much as a cow? Well in order to excavate that mass of "kitty klump" you need something that can handle the weight and as much capacity as you can get so you're done with that spot in one to two scoops. This has a durable finish, the covering on the handle holds up very well to constant use. The flat edge on the end of the spade is very useful for scrapping off the "kitty stucco finish" that comes from stuff drying into a mass of "kit-crete". The slots allow for dry litter to fall away fairly easily. Sure some small pieces of used litter may slip through but your shoveling a cat box not conducting archeology where you need every small piece to solve the mystery. There is no mystery as to where this stuff comes from. The shape of the spade is really well engineered. If you hold it so from the side it looks like a straight edge from the tip of the spade (the shiny looking business end) to the end of the handle you will notice the spade section increases in capacity and drops down to hold the load like a cupped hand. That my friends is the characteristics of a spade designed to lever into a mass, pick up a load equal to its capacity, and move it from one spot to another. This spade has the quality design of a well made coal shovel. Once the indispensable tool of industry. And just like the endless task of feeding coal to the fire, when you are on day 666 of shoveling cat poop you want your tool to be as efficient as possible. This was the very first thing I bought when we were prepping for our first kitty. Twenty five years later and I am still using the same sturdy tool. The handle is worn but still in great shape. I probably will be buried with it like a warrior with his sword. Ready to scoop poop for eternity when I meet my past kitties on the other side. You already have consigned yourself to be a slave to your cat. But why slave away trying to clean a box with a useless tool? Work smarter not harder, do yourself a favor, invest in one of these scoopers. Plus it rinses off really easy so it doubles as a ice cream scooper! (Only kidding unless you like Rocky Road)

Great Litter Scoop
This litter scoop is very durable. The plastic litter scoops generally break after a few uses, and this one hold up. I have bought a few of these as my cats "go" a lot and on the very bottom of the box, so the clumps in the box can be very large and heavy. I sometimes have to use the end of it for leverage to the plastic piece at the end breaks off after a while. Not a big issue, just something that happens to me. Overall, I love the size and sturdiness of the scoop.

"It's Awesome!" *UPDATE* IT BROKE AFTER 8mo
I was reluctant to spend $13 on a litter scoop, when I could just spend $1 at the store on one that 'got the job done just fine,' .. or so i thought. My husband and I recently ended up rescuing a small army of cats. Every room of our house there are cats, and at least 1 litter box. Needless to say, we scoop a lot of litter every day! My husband has taken oven litter duty, and he kept breaking my cheap little dollar store scoopers. So I decided it was time to look into investing in a decent litter scoop. I searched Amazon for a while before deciding on this scooper. There's another one I left in my cart, in case this one didn't work out, but after my husband's reaction last night, I don't think we'll need it. After he finished doing the boxes last night, I asked him "So how's the new scoop?" His reaction: "IT'S AWESOME!" He said: 1.) it greatly cut his scoop time down; (which is especially helpful since we both have back issues. The less time spent bent over, the better!) 2.) he can move around more litter at once without worrying about the scoop bending, like the plastic ones; 3.) the holes are a good size and the clumps don't break apart; 4.) and it does a good job of scraping the bottom of the boxes, so you don't miss any clumps that are usually stuck to the bottom. After letting my husband do the honors of using it first, later that night I briefly used it myself, and I have to agree with all the points he had made. (He even suggested we throw out all our plastic scoopers, and only use this one, so I guess I need to buy a few more of these lol) I also want to point out that even though it's all metal, it didn't feel super heavy. Obviously much heavier than the flimsy plastic ones, but not so heavy that you'd easily get fatigued using it for a while. The handle also felt comfortable; the width (girth?) felt like a good size. And there's even a hole at the end in case you want to hang it up between uses. We have litter boxes that are all shapes and sizes. Square, triangular, round; shallow, deep; covered, uncovered, etc. and this scoop worked well on each one. We only use regular clay scoopable cat litter, (because it's honestly the only thing we can afford,) so I can't comment on how it works on other types of cat litter. But on scoopable clay litter, it works beautifully. I took some rough measurements while taking pictures for this review. They're not laser accurate, but they're close enough to let you know what to expect if you bought it. Total length: Slightly over 13" Handle length: ~7 1/2" Scoop area length: ~5 3/4" Scoop area width: ~5 1/2" Scoop area depth: ~1 1/2" Scoop flat edge width: ~5 1/4" Sifting holes are about 1/2cm wide One of the reasons I was slightly hesitant to go with this company is because in the listing it states that the color handle you receive will vary. I'm usually not very good when it comes to surprises, but I tried to convince myself that 'it's just a litter scooper; who cares about the color of the handle.' The color I ended up receiving was pink. It doesn't look quite as nice as the teal they show in their pictures, but it's alright. I'd prefer to spend an extra couple dollars and actually be able to choose the color myself though. Since the scoop is solid metal from end to end, I expect it to be quite durable and last, at a minimum, a few years. (Even the cheap $1 plastic ones would last 6mo-1yr.) I am giving it 5 stars for now, but if anything starts to go south within the next year or so, I will definitely update this review. Let me know if you have any questions I might be able to answer. I hope you found this review and/or the pictures helpful. :) UPDATE: We've been using this scoop for almost a month now, and i gotta say, my husband and I still love it as much as we did when we first got it. It really does make scooping the boxes a million times faster. So far I literally have no complaints whatsoever. It really IS awesome! I'll definitely be buying more, so we don't have to carry this one from room to room. UPDATE #2: It broke after 8 months of use. (See pics) I ended up buying another one to replace it, but I'm going to have to knock a star off my rating. I'm hoping it was just a fluke, but if any more break, I think I'll have to find something more durable. :/

Best scoop ever.
I now have three of these. Best scoop ever. It’s large to help get the job done fast. The holes are spaced perfectly to pick up what you want yet let litter flow through. It is solidly built - no bending or breaking. Soft grip handle is comfy to hold. And best of all, it doesn’t hurt my wrist or hand. The shape of it is such that it takes the brunt of the work. No more wrist pain. My sister complained of wrist pain scooping for her furries so I sent her one. She loves it too. Seriously, skip the rest and get this scoop!
