Love it!
I don’t regret this purchase at all. I had no issues with setup and got up and running in just a few minutes. If you’re having issues it’s probably your router- this only operates on 2.4ghz so it might require some router settings changes to initially set up but it worked fine with my ASUS 86U. I love that I can adjust dosing from anywhere in the world now.I can’t speak to how it holds calibration over time, but I’ve used a non-WiFi Jaebo doser for years without issues. What I will say is that you shouldn’t be dosing anything you’re not measuring anyway. So in that regard, if you dose “5ml” and after a few months the calibration is off and you’re dosing 7ml….so what? You’re always going to be dosing “more” or “less” based on testing results, so the actual number doesn’t matter. With the non WiFi version some suggested calibrating 2:1 instead of 1:1, so keep in mind that’s an option if you’re having issues. Finally, the app. It’s very plain, but I don’t think that’s an issue. Keeping the code simple is sound engineering. I have my issues- it’s a little too easy to completely turn the doser off, and a little too easy to turn a pump on continuously. But otherwise the programming is straightforward and not an issue. The one thing that threw me for a loop; you have to hold-press on the doser to enter settings.~$70 for 4 dosing pumps vs. $350 for 2 Neptune pumps. Don’t get me wrong, I have Neptune DOS pumps and auto-adjusting dosing is great, but the value proposition in this item is just astronomical.

Great value for the price
I bought this unit to replace an older model Jebao that I had been using for over 5 years. This is definitely easier to use due to the app.The directions aren’t great, but the unit is simple enough that you can get it going with a little patience. Many people have complained about their inability to connect to wifi. I also had difficulty at first, but after simply pausing the 5.0 ghz signal on my wifi router, it connected to the 2.4 ghz on the next try. I have an Eero router which allowed me to simply pause the 5.0 signal for 15 minutes via their app.The Jebao app isn’t perfect, but simple enough if you follow the directions. I also had watched a couple of YouTube videos regarding the app and programming prior to purchase. I calibrated each pump individually and found there to be only slight variations from pump to pump. I plan to recheck calibration monthly just to make sure things stay close over time, and I’ll try to update this review with those results.UPDATE- after 2 months since my positive review the unit has now lost wifi signal 3 times and nearly crashed my system. I have fiber optic service that is extremely reliable. The signal is very strong so there is no excuse for it to lose the signal. I am going back to a non wifi based unit for peace of mind.I previously rated this 4*. Rating changes to a 1*. If you have a reef tank, consistency is what you’re after. You won’t get consistency out of this unit.

Solid doser
This has made my life sooo much easier with my reef tank dosing. All you have to do is calibrate it and set it up for the times and volume you want and it takes care of the rest. The instructions are not great so make sure you set the "Day Interval" at 0 if you want it to dose every day. Set it to 1 of you want every other day. 2 for every 2 day, etc.Only improvement I could suggest is better instructions and and some kind of level monitoring for the bottles, but for me this is not a big deal. It's great on it's own and even better at its price point.

Wifi can be tricky - unit is a great doser. Read for my experience with wifi!
After reading many reviews with mixed results, I decided to order two of these dosing units. I wanted a back up just in case the primary failed but I also wanted more than one because I read people had issues with the Wi-Fi.Unfortunately, I was one of the people that had issues with the Wi-Fi. The first unit I tried and tried with multiple devices in multiple networks and had no success. When I opened up the second unit that I ordered as a back up, I easily synchronized it to Wi-Fi. I was unable to do so using my iPhone, but I I had success using my iPad.I’m not sure why one worked and The other didn’t, but if you are one of the people who is having trouble try using a different device to connect. Once it is synchronize with Wi-Fi, you can use the app from any device and it will appear. As for the performance, these work the same as pretty much every other doser out there. Another complaint that I commonly hear is that these are not very accurate. I will vouch for this, over a period of 60 to 90 days they can become someone in accurate. This is easy to correct if you re-calibrate them regularly. For me it’s worth the effort because they are such a bargain compared to the more expensive units. Even the more expensive units need to be recalibrated to ensure accuracy.I think this unit is a great value for the money, just be prepared to Return the unit that doesn’t work with your Wi-Fi or order multiple at one time as I did.

Great and easy to install dosing pump...
Seen a lot of negative reviews about this product. Seen where people were having issues with the app, setting up the WiFi, setting the dosing pump and calibration. I just came from a DP-4 Jebao doser, and I couldn’t be happier with this doser. Easy set up, WiFi was easy to install, calibration was easier than the dp-4, and setting up the schedule was so much easier than standing there and going through each fields to set up my 2 part, magnesium, and vodka dosing... it was so easy and for the cost I only hope it lasts longer than the dp-4. The dp-4 2nd pump would cause the 1st pump to go when it was activated. I’m sure it’s due to moisture getting on the circuit board causing it to make both pumps come on at the same time. The old doser still works on 1st, 3rd, and 4th pumps so I’m sure I can use it as a back up on something else. All in all I highly recommend this dosing pump. Time will tell how long it will last but for ease of operation this is definitely the way to go... Happy reefing!!!
