Hi all, I'll get straight to it. I understand some reviews talking about how it's kind of uncomfortable but I would say that is up for interpretation. It's not very noticeably soft but it is it's still very comfy at least for me. It's more of the softer firm side. Just had my first night sleeping on it and I just have a comforter blanket under me and I had some great sleep. I will be sleeping on this for a while while I move and I think it will be doable for sure. It's definitely more on the firm side but I don't think it's a problem for the price, set up, look, feel, and what it is capable of doing (3 set reclining). It seems very sturdiness and set up was VERY easy, like 30-40 mins with 2 people, not heavy. I left the armrests unscrewed from the couch so that I can slide them on and off when I like. For size reference I am 5'8 (68in) and I can perfectly stretch out on it since it is around 69in in length. I'd say it's definitely a Twin XL size too (my twin XL comforter set fits well with very little gapping. It's also kinda low to the ground for my height but it's realistic for a sofa bed so my expectations are at an understandable point. I did research for weeks comparing the look, price, and reviews for over 20 sofa beds here on Amazon and this was the winner for me and I am happy with my purchase. This was one of the only beds from the group that had a smooth surface (instead of the puffy pillow-like surface) and I think that really matters as you can feel every indent in one of those other types (atleast from what reviews say). Also DO NOT get the $299 deal if you see it cuz the shipping is like $49 and that's basically $20 more than if you got it for the original price with the free shipping (about $360 vs $381). I got it at the original price with free shipping and it came in 2 days after my order date! Super fast!! Overall, I give: 8/10 for comfort (more firm but still soft) 9/10 for length (fits 5'8 perfectly) 9/10 for sturdiness (seems durable but will update if something breaks) 7/10 for height (understandably low) 10/10 for width (VERY WIDE as a bed, room to sprawl. A true full XL size.) 10/10 for features (detachable arms, 3 type reclining, smooth surface) 10/10 for price (competitive pricing, 2 day shipping, not cheap looking) *BONUS!: the couch has pockets under it thAt held the armrests. I can use it for storage as it is VERY spacey haha I know this was long but I hope I helped someone make a great and informed decision as something like this is an investment. I will update as I continue my use with this as a bed each night and/or something changes 👍🏾. Edit: 02/08/23 Hi still sleeping on this thing and nothing is broken! The 3 point reclining still works as intended. After sleeping on this for months I will say that there is a part in the middle that has a little amount of cushion that hits around the tailbone when laying on it and feels harder that other areas. This could also be from the cushion wearing down over time after sleeping on it so long. It is a 4/10 on the uncomfortable scale. I plan to buy a mattress pad to elevate the comfort over all and stand by this purchase 👍🏾

01/25/2025: I bought this couch in the navy blue. The fabric feels nice to the touch and the detailing looks like the photos. The color is nice, exactly what i was hoping for. My cat likes to sit on it but not scratch it, so thats been nice so far. A vacuum with soft bristle attchment gets a good amount of cat hair off, but a lint roller is still probably needed to really get the fur off. It shipped flat in 2 boxes, with the arms, legs, and hardware in a special pocket of the main cushions. The boxes were fairly easy to roll up the stairs on my own, though it should be a 2-person job if you need to carry it. I was able to assemble it on my own, although again, a second person would help out a lot. I don't know i would trust this couch to seat 3, but for 1 or 2 people and a pet I think it's sturdy enough. My main corncern with sturdiness is the plastic legs. They have a wood print on them, and there are 6 legs, but I would still be careful about plopping down too hard or having too many people sit on it at once. Overall, it's a pretty nice couch for the price, but I still have yet to see how it holds up to a few months or years of use. Now, my main issue with this product and reason I docked a star is the shipping. The seller was pretty efficient and my boxes got here 5 days early. However, I was not provided with accurate tracking info, which meant that I wasnt home to receive the packages and led to (unfortunately) both boxes being damaged by the carrier since I wasnt home to help them move it. Somehow, the boxes held up to it and no part of the couch was damaged, so that at least is a bonus. My advice is to make sure you have a safe, easy location for the packages to be delivered or plan to have someone home for a few days before the official shipping window to receive the packages. Edit 10/11/2025: I have had several people sleep on this couch (including myself) and have found it a comfortable sleeping experience! there is a ridge in the middle which can be a bit uncomfy but sleeping on the cushion part on either side has been great. Several people say they get great sleep on this couch and the cushions have gotten a bit softer with wear. the fabric has held up to routine vacuuming to remove cat hair and hasn't noticeably pilled or degraded in some way. I am overall very satisfied and would purchase this couch again and recommend it to others, however I have decided to leave the review at 4 stars because of the issue I had with delivery.

I was looking for a small sofa bed, or futon for my new apartment I bought a cheap one but it was awful, seating are is small, the back are also small and don't stay in place Then I had this one on my list for weeks, until finally I got it, in the peach color as it had a discounted price It's beautiful and well made. Very comfortable and easy to put it together The only shortcomings I see for now - I received it today - are the legs and the brackets All legs are made of hard plastic imitating wood. I wish they were metal Also, the two middle legs are the ones with brackets to keep both halves together. It's a bad idea to use plastic for that At least the middle legs should be metal or have a metal bracket insert Any vertical move of the sofa halves will put all stress on those plastic brackets and they are not rigid enough The legs could be made of a harder, better and reinforced plastic My solution for now was to use the metal brackets intended for the arms as elements to keep the halves together The metal brackets luckily have the exact same measurements as of the middle legs brackets, so I use them together, under each middle leg, I screwed the metal brackets in a sandwich fashion To be honest, I don't know why the arms have brackets, as the idea to easy remove the arms is one of the things that made me buy this unit The sofa became way more stable As final thought, if this unit was a single pice, it would be a perfect small sofa bed Plus, metal legs!

I ordered this couch and it was too small. Perfect for children, but it is small and not sturdy for an adult. I am 5’4” and 160 lbs and felt uneasy on this sofa. The video was deceiving because it looks bigger in the video. I took it apart and put it back in the box and requested a refund. The refund was approved right away with no prepaid label. They do not provide you prepaid shipping label . You must pay out of pocket and cannot just drop it off at Kohls. The instructions stated that you must reach out to Mopio’s customer service team PRIOR to requesting a return from Amazon or you may be subject to a restocking fee and have to pay for return shipping. I live in Florida and the USPS does not take items over 70lbs. UPS quoted $1500 to return the sofa, which only costs $279. Beware that the return instructions also stated that the box may not be opened, the product may not be assembled and all packaging must be intact if you do not want a restocking fee. So, make sure you know what you are buying and that you essentially cannot return this item once purchased unless you live in Ontario California, which is where the seller is located and have never opened the box. Then you can just drive it to them. I am cancelling the return not because I don’t want to get my money back, but because there is literally no way I can get my money back. I don’t think Amazon knows that this seller is selling an item that has these terms. It’s fraudulent and misleading.

I bought 3 of these for my living room. They were easy to put together and if your not rough housing they will last a long time. They are ok to sit on. I miss having neck support though lol. Laying down on them is just awful though. You either have to lay on the seat part or the back part because the middle bar? Middle something. Its slightly raised so you'll roll one way or the other. I put 3 foam pads on it and a blanket and its kind of ok. If your looking for something. Easy on the eyes and just want to sit and not lay id recommend this unless your rowdy or heavy and plop down.

Really like this futon sofa, looks modern with clean lines. Doesn't "look" like a futon, making it fit well with other furniture. Material (velvet) is soft to the touch, so everyone in my family seems to want to sit/lay on it. The cushions are FIRM, but not uncomfortable and I like firm mattresses for back support, so it suits me fine. If you're looking for a plush pillowy sofa, then this is not for you. Not a big sofa, so 5'10" or taller may feel the sofa is a little small (but it is longer than most futons, so a taller person could comfortably sleep on this futon). Construction quality seems good and was easy to assemble (15 mins). No regrets, I bought two because it was on sale!

Good for a small space or office. Pretty firm, but I don’t mind that. VERY easy assembly (~30 min). Seems to be good quality.

The only reason I’m doing 4 stars is because when you have the one side up the back of it is black. It needs to be against a wall when using it as a couch. It’s pretty though and it was easy to assemble - me and hubby assembled pretty quickly. It’s easy to put up and down and the color is a pretty cream color. The picture makes it appear yellowish but it’s not at all. It’s a good size and I am happy with the quality for the price.
