Works perfect.
There was no setup, I just put in the batteries and it controls the TV right out of the box. I bought it because of the number buttons. The factory remote didn't have them and you had to use a tiny button to scroll until you found the channel you wanted. This is great. Just put in the channel number and it switches very quickly. The only thing I really had to do was to assign the setup menu my Cable box and DVD player. I can now turn them on also with just one button. Great price but the price varies from store to store and website to website. shop around.

Best Samsung Replacement Remote
If you have a Samsung tv and need a replacement remote. Don’t walk…RUN to put this in your cart! All I had to do was pop in some fresh batteries and it automatically synced to my tv. One of the best universal remotes

So much better than the control that came with the TV
We absolutely hated the remote control that came with our new Samsung smart TV, so we ordered this one. It came quickly, and is SO MUCH BETTER! You can actually SEE what each of the buttons does...what a novel idea! If you hate your original remote, give this one a try. I'm sure you will like it.

No power off connection
Good price. Works well connecting to turn the TV on and going through the programs. It just doesn’t shut the TV off no matter what I try.

Perfect!
I have a 83 in Samsung TV and my kids lost the remote. This remote worked perfectly and I did not have to program it or anything. I was skeptical because it was just the remote by itself with no instructions but after some digging, that's when I found out it programs automatically.

power button stopped working on my old Samsung LCD TV. this remote worked perfectly out of the box. just put the batteries in and boom - it's a new remote.

Remote Problems
I suspect my neighbor got the first one I ordered because I didn't, but I got a Delivered notice showing someone had signed for it. I work days, my neighbor doesn't so they got it and God forbid they bring it to me. They obviously kept it and I had to order another one. It's not very good. You have to press the buttons multiple times to get them to work. Sometimes I have had to press the off button ten or more times to get it to work. I'm going to order a different one and hope it works better.

It’s ok read the review
Not a bad replacement, however while watching Netflix you have to press the forward or back button to advance to a frame by frame, you can’t hold the buttion while it advances. Not a great thing.
