I've been reordering Mae Ploy's Yellow Curry Paste for years now, and it’s easily my favorite curry paste on the market. I currently live in Mexico where Thai food is hard to come by, and this paste has been a total lifesaver. It tastes just like the yellow curry I used to get back home—rich, aromatic, and deeply flavorful.It’s incredibly easy to prepare, even on busy nights. I typically sauté the paste first to really bring out the fragrance, then add my milk of choice. If I want something rich and traditional, I’ll go with coconut milk, but I’ve also used regular milk to lighten it up and it still turns out delicious.My go-to combo is potatoes, carrots, and onions—it’s simple but so satisfying. Tried 3 other paneng/panang curry pastes and this is our personal favorite. Maesri in some ways feels easier because of the multiple small cans when you order it, but inside this container all the paste is in a plastic bag and so you can squeeze out what you need and just reseal it, honestly just as convenient in it's own way. In terms of flavor this packs more layered spice (in our household's opinion) but both were good. Third we tried was a dud lol, no point in naming it.+

This is the curry paste a lot of the local Thai restaurants use. It is really good. This is a pretty large quantity. Stays well in the fridge in the included container.

Easy to use, great taste as are all the curries by same company, great pantry staple. Have used these for years! Makes for an easy dinner. Just add veggies and any meat.

This larger tub of curry paste is a great value if you like making curry at home! We keep the jar in the freezer to preserve it and then measure it out by weight whenever we need some. It IS a bit spicy, though, so if you're not spice-tolerant I'd recommend using less than the advertised amount.
