Awesome low cal "peanut butter."
I think the best thing about this stuff is it's really versatile; I use it in a bunch of different recipes and I really like the texture and taste it provides. Right now I am totally addicted to using it to make Pad Thai sauce for zucchini noodles. I use this thing: OXO Good Grips Julienne Peeler to make skinny "zoodles" out of zucchini and carrots (highly recommend it). To make the sauce I mix: 1/4 cup of tamari sauce (or low sodium soy sauce), 1/2 cup of lime juice, 1-2 tbs PB2 powder, 2 Tbs Huy Fong, Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce, 17 Ounce Bottle I add it all to a glass bottle and then shake it up and put it on the noodles like dressing (i store any leftover sauce in the fridge). You can sauté the zoodles with garlic and add some kind of protein spiced with the sauce (meat, tofu or whatever) or eat the zoodles raw like a salad. Either way I like to add about 1/4 tsp of sesame oil and chopped green onion on top of the Pad Thai sauce too (or I guess you could just add the sesame oil to the sauce in the first place). I also like to make this mock cookie dough hummus sometimes. It probably sounds disgusting but I mash up a can of beans and add 1/4 cup (prepared) PB2, 2 tsp vanilla, some stevia (and sometimes figs or a bit of mashed banana) and then blend it and top with mini chocolate chips. ...I don't even bother eating it as "hummus," i just eat it with a spoon.. It probably sounds even more disgusting that I sometimes I even make "cookie dough hummus" with steamed cauliflower instead of the beans, and I have also been known to abuse broccoli in this same manner too (seriously, I usually flavor the broccoli with cocoa powder in addition to everything else--it tastes good but looks so disgusting that no one will eat it but me). My other favorite way to eat it is making mock chocolate bars (more like smears) by mashing up 1/4-1/2 a banana on a piece of wax paper until it's soft and smooth as butter. Then I add tons of cocoa powder (probably 1tbs-1/8 cup) and a tsp-tbs of PB2 powder, and a little stevia to cancel out some of the bitterness of the chocolate (i always taste it as I make it) and then I fold the wax paper in half and smooth out the mass of chocolate until it's nice and smooth but not paper thin. I stick it in the freezer and once it's frozen it's like a Hershey's bar. You could also do it with coconut oil but personally, I like bananas. I also like mixing it in a 1:1 ratio with coconut, almond, or cashew milk (I can't eat dairy) and adding a crapload of cinnamon and/or cocoa powder and using it as a dip for carrots or celery but I usually have to be careful cause on top of liking this as a dip, i've got this thing for carrots and like them so much that I've been known to turn orange from eating too many (seriously, it happens). You know what the weird thing is though (like besides eating vanilla and chocolate flavored PB2 broccoli mash)? I've never been a huge fan of real peanut butter (in fact I actively avoided it as a child) so I have no idea how this stuff compares to the real stuff aside from the fact that it seems to work fine as a substitute in a lot of recipes that call for peanut butter. Also, just an FYI but this stuff isn't organic or nonGMO as far as I can tell. If you want an organic nonGMO pb substitute the only one I've ever seen is the more expensive Betty Lou's Just Great Stuff Organic Powdered Peanut Butter and Organic Powdered Chocolate Peanut Butter 2 Pack .

Better than any other comparable product
I met the owners of this company at the Arnold Classic. They were very hospitable I learned so much about their product and even the manufacturing process of the product. They were amazing! It turns out I stopped along the road during a drive once just down the road from their plant in Georgia! Great people, great explanations on how they make the product, why it's best and I was sold! This was no salesperson talking to me but one of the owners and he was great. I bought a two pack and will go back and buy more shortly. As to it's quality, it is the best. Low in sodium and all the peanut oil is extracted due to their process. You can tell. I have used it as a dietary supplement with my training regimen. I has worked so well. I have 2 tblspn in mid afternoon and it keeps the munchies in check so that I can get home for dinner. I have lost 7 pounds so far because I am using this stuff in my workout regimen. I am planning on a high altitude hike in Peru in about 4-6 months and plan on bringing this with. In my training for the big adventure, I take this on training hikes. It tastes just wonderful after a 9 mile hike and I am absolutely convinced of the quality.

No more guilt!
If you like peanut butter like I do (stand there and eat a jar without even batting an eye) then you will understand my dilemma. I love pb. Not a little. It's like my drug. If there's a jar in the house, I must eat it. My thighs, on the other hand, scream at me "Stop the insanity!" So I compromise. Check this stuff out! PB that has only 50 calories in 2 tablespoons. Not 200 calories! The flavor is there. It tastes like a really good roasted PB. the only thing you have to get over is the whole "mouth feel" thing. It doesn't leave that "grease slick" feeling to your mouth. I have no problem with it. I don't have to have the fat in order to enjoy my pb. I want the flavor and this stuff has it. Oh, and don't forget to add it to recipes! I throw a couple tablespoons in with my instant pudding (any flavor) to give it a new taste. Or I put it in my hot cocoa. Now I get the flavor but I'm not trying to melt a wad of pb in my cup. I put it in oriental flavored ramen while backpacking and now I have fake pad thai. I sprinkle it on my cereal, my granola, my yogurt, my ice cream.... And no guilt! And no gut ache from eating too much pb! It literally takes seconds and you have pb. I pour it in a small bowl and start adding teaspoons of water till I get it to the right consistency. I can pretty much eyeball it now. But that's only if I need real pb, like for a sandwich. Most of the time, I add it to any liquidy substance and voila. Yes, you can add the powder directly to jam. Especially if you use freezer jam because it seems to be more moist. Work with it, you'll love it.

Simply cannot rave enough! Huge peanut flavor- great addition to everything from cookies to icing to smoothies!
I can't tell you how much I _LOVE_ this stuff! I add 1/2 a cup (or replace all the peanut butter and adjust other ingredients) to pb cookies for out of this world flavor. I add it to cream cheese icing for a fantastic pb icing topped chocolate (or yellow...or...) cake & sprinkle peanuts on top. I make a variety of smoothies, but by far my (albeit weird) favorite on a hot summer day is a lot of ice, some milk, vanilla, yogurt, a banana and a few tablespoons of this stuff. Best. Smoothie. EVER. I love how flexible it is. I love how easily it stores without the oil in it leaking out like pb can if it gets old or your kitchen gets warm if you bake a lot (which I do). This stuff is amazingly easy to use- no normal pb mess. It's also quite high in protein- a friend of mine was so impressed he asked if he could take a sample to a friend of his who had weight loss surgery, because she could add it to the liquids she was currently able to handle, and it was higher in protein than other things she'd tried and not liked. She loved it, too.

Not perfect, but it's THE BEST, and here's why....
This is the very best bang for the calorie that you're going to get with any kind of peanut butter. Here is the breakdown of pros & cons, comparing it both to regular peanut butter, as well as other comparable brands of defatted powdered peanut butter . I have listed ingredients at the end. PROS: 1) Let’s just go right for the gusto for why most of us are buying this. The calories. Unbelievably low for peanut-butter anything. Regular peanut butter would cost you a walloping 200 calories for 2 tablespoons. The same amount of PB2’s peanut-buttery goodness is a slim 45 calories. PB2’s calorie count is not only significantly less than regular peanut butter, but also slightly lower than competing defatted brands I’ve compared. 2) It tastes great. A low-cal substitute that tastes bad isn’t worth it—but PB2 tastes like the real thing. I use it in smoothies most of the time, but when I have a jones for regular peanut butter, I mix the powder with a little water and have a low-calorie and close-to-the-real-thing peanut butter substitute. I find that it tastes better than the competing defatted products I’ve tried. 3) If you travel, it will get through TSA. Regular peanut butter will usually be confiscated because of its high liquid content. I would suggest that you put it into the open bin on the conveyor belt so TSA can immediately see what it is, because when I left it in my carry-on bag as it went through x-ray, they pulled the bag to examine the powdery contents. But they ultimately let it go through. CONS: 1) It has sugar as the second main ingredient. In regular peanut butter, you can get those made without sugar (just peanuts or peanuts and salt, depending on your preference.) HOWEVER, for competing brands of defatted, powdered peanut butter, I haven't found any that are without sugar. So the PB2 still does not take a back seat to comparable defatted products. 2) I’m a fan of crunchy peanut butter. This will not provide the crunch unless you add your own chopped-up peanuts. Again, no other comparable defatted product will give this benefit either. But you do lose that when compared to regular crunchy peanut butter. I still keep regular crunchy peanut butter on hand because there are times when nothing else will do. But for the vast majority of the time, I’m cutting the calories with PB2 and getting a satisfying peanut-butter fix. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PB2 Ingredients: Roasted peanuts, sugar, and salt

Great taste, great nutrition, excellent for the health-conscious!
This is simply an amazing product, particularly if you are looking to improve your diet by reducing fat and calorie intake! Essentially, this is just dehydrated peanut butter with the oil removed. A good chunk of the caloric and saturated fat content are also removed in this process, but the flavor, protein, and fiber remain. If you're trying to lose weight, that's a godsend, because normally peanut butter is one of the most calorie-dense foods you can find (a heaping tablespoon is roughly equivalent to many candy bars!) Not all powdered peanut butter is created equal; I found the JIF powdered peanut butter to be quite awful in taste, and somehow worse in nutrition as well. The "Just Great Stuff" brand tastes about as good with almost identical nutritional information, but it's more expensive as well. That leaves PB2 as the best option, whether you go with the natural peanut butter flavor or chocolate. Here are some of the ways we've used this: * Sprinkled atop low-fat or no-sugar added ice cream * Rehydrated with milk and mixed in with cocoa powder and stevia for use in brownies or fudge * Mixed in the batter of any chocolate dessert recipe to add peanut butter flavor * Mixed into protein shakes

PB2
With this product, you get 2 at a better price. It really tastes like peanut butter! It always comes sealed so it stays fresh, no leaking. I use it as extra protein in my smoothies, protein shakes, yogurt, oatmeal and anything else I think it will add protein without changing the consistency of whatever I am adding it to.
