Doesn’t work in Synology DS920+
I will always give Crucial memory a five star review even though I had to return this item. I purchased it because it was listed on a popular NAS website as compatible with my Synology DS920+. This particular module, CT16G4SFRA266, did NOT function in the DS920+. It refused to boot. Returned and purchased another Crucial model number that reviews seem to indicate will work.

Worked flawlessly for 4 years
As of the time that I'm writing this, it has been about 4 years since I bought this RAM stick. This RAM stick has survived and continued to work flawlessly for all the time that I have used it in my laptop. I'm only writing this review because I recently upgraded my RAM from this same vendor, and wanted to share that my previous purchase (this one) worked flawlessly for what I needed it to.

Exactly as expected
Bought as an upgrade for my laptop MSI GL75 9SDKStarted working right after installation without any tuning.CPU-Z shows full match to the described characteristics. Dual-channel mode just works. The system looks to be pretty stable and fast.Wrt performance it's probably better to buy a smaller volume bars which may come with smaller timings, but 19 is already pretty good IMO. I any case I've bought this pack to have enough volume but not enough speed, and I've got exactly what was expecting.Maybe except the price which taking account the shipment and import clearance taxes turned out to be higher than from local retailers (overall local Belarus prices are 14% cheaper for the same memory)If anyone curious there is dmidecode below:Array Handle: 0x003AError Information Handle: Not ProvidedTotal Width: 64 bitsData Width: 64 bitsSize: 32 GBForm Factor: SODIMMSet: NoneLocator: ChannelB-DIMM0Bank Locator: BANK 2Type: DDR4Type Detail: SynchronousSpeed: 2667 MT/sManufacturer: MicronSerial Number: 2F3A12AEAsset Tag: 9876543210Part Number: 16ATF4G64HZ-2G6B4Rank: 2Configured Memory Speed: 2667 MT/sMinimum Voltage: 1.2 VMaximum Voltage: 1.2 VConfigured Voltage: 1.2 VMemory Technology: DRAMMemory Operating Mode Capability: Volatile memoryFirmware Version: Not SpecifiedModule Manufacturer ID: Bank 1, Hex 0x2CModule Product ID: UnknownMemory Subsystem Controller Manufacturer ID: UnknownMemory Subsystem Controller Product ID: UnknownNon-Volatile Size: NoneVolatile Size: 32767 MBCache Size: NoneLogical Size: None

Stellar Customer Service
Being convinced there was a problem with this memory stick not operating in my newly purchased (refurbished) Lenovo T15 Gen1, I initiated a return to Crucial with an explanation of the specific circumstances. Alex at Crucial called me to help we work through this problem. Upon receiving the returned memory he confirmed I had purchased the correct memory for my machine. Then he had it tested (it passed). He also had a second stick tested prior to shipping it back to me. When this replacement was installed, same problem - black screen. BUT I KNEW THE MEMORY STICK WAS GOOD.So I started the long journey through the Lenovo help desk, transferred twice, finally to Amanda, who with her voodoo magic got the machine running. Unfortunately, due to my years of computer experience, this was an embarrassing ID 10 T moment for me - both memory sticks and the machine we perfectly fine the whole time. PEBKAC.Alex at Crucial was instrumental in getting me pointed in the right direction. Not only had a computer vendor never called me, unprompted, to help out, but he voluntarily tested Crucial's product, twice, and Fed-Ex'd the TESTED replacement piece. And like I said, the Crucial memory was perfect in every respect at all times. But Alex was outstanding in helping me get my problem resolved. They'll have all my future business and that of anyone else who needs a recommendation. Thanks, Alex.
