Okay, I get Mike and Ike from the store and gas station all the time and usually the are a hard to chew and very firm. I just assumed this is how it was meant to taste. I opened this bag up and was shocked. They were so fresh, soft and easy to chew. The taste was very much enhanced and the fruity flavor was delicious! Much better than anything bought in a box. I will forever buy them on here for the guaranteed quality and desirable consistency!

Price increases
I like these for a snack, the only issue I have is it goes up a dollar every time I reorder twice in December from $21 to $23 now in January over $24 and now the 5lb bag is 4.5lbs.Although i gave a 5 star rating i can only say there is no reason this product should increase in price every month.
