I loved these lights so much, they were so easy to stick on my wall and they light up the room like nothing I’ve ever seen before, I’m very sad to say though after four months they have given out, the little strip piece that plugs into the actual port that connects to the wall plug is no longer working and I’m really sad about it! They are all along my walls and now I don’t know what I’m supposed to do because the lights that are stuck around my room don’t work! I’m very disappointed to say that they’ve only lasted this long considering I don’t turn them on or use them every single day so I don’t know what to do! It’s not even the lights it’s self it’s literally the strip that goes into plug in port !!! Smmhhhhhh

non-bot review. what to know about it
these are GREAT for the price. i was expecting to maybe get some flickering LED's, but instead some great LED's came in instead. really easy to install, so that doesnt matter. the remote cannot reach from that far away, but you get use to it within the first couple minutes. then.. the diy part is kinda tricky to set up. still havent found out how to, but it really doesnt matter. the jump and fade are just jumping from different colors, and fading into different ones too. if you are looking for a cheaper LED, these cannot be any better. i cannot recommend them more for your gaming setup, futuristic furniture, or even a room. just remember that you will need to keep the cables hidden and point to where you want them. they dont reflect the BEST on other materials, i have around 2-3 rows of LED's point at the floor, and like 1.5 rows of LED's on the front side at the wall.

Pretty good...
Good enough with some small issues. I will be comparing this light set to a Govee light set that broke. It cost about double. They are decently bright and the remote has a lot of options. They are not bright as the Govee was, they are noticeably dimmer, but they are still decently bright. You can also cut the strip to size but anything you cut after a small connection segment will cause the lights up to the previous connection segment to go out. (Not mentioned in instructions). There is a connection segment about every 18 inches, they are clearly labeled but the instructions didn't say anything about the lights going out after the connection segment. In other words you see where the strip was connected to itself and if you cut it before the next connection Point all the lights up to the previous connection point will go out. Adhesive seems pretty good, no issues there.

Sensitive to electrical noise from nearby electronics
I tested the LED light strip using the USB port on my 80" big screen TV. The light strip we've had for about 3.5 years, died recently so I'd ordered this as a replacement. Knowing how sensitive electronics can be with nearby electronics, I hadn't peeled the backing off to install the 2 light strips yet but when I did, the remote wouldn't work. I unplugged the USB dongle and plugged it into a portable powerbank and it worked fine. The colors would cycle to different settings and there was no flickering. I thought, great! I can plug it back into the TV knowing it worked ok with the powerbank. I was mistaken. I went ahead and installed the lights (peeled off the backing and affixed both strips to the back of the TV like I'd had the other light strip that died recently, and proceeded to use the remote but nope, the light strip was misbehaving AGAIN. I proceeded to download the phone app and try the settings on the phone app and I still have problems. The solid blue setting which I was able to select, was intermittently flickering. It's supposed to be always ON but it wasn't. The intermittent flickering and the periodic lacking response from either the phone app or the remote that came with the purchase, caused me to suspect electrical noise. So I went back to Amazon and found a package of ferrite beads that I'll be installing upon arrival. This should be a good fix for what looks like a sorely cheapened design. Over time, companies seem to find ways to cut costs and I think that any sort of noise filtering that was originally part of these designs has been altered or flat out removed. This is my 2nd order from Amazon where I'm having problems since the original LED strip died. I already initiated a return for the first strip which consequently, was more expensive than this one. Talk about annoying! Why don't they make a robust design and charge accordingly? Such a hassle. I cannot recommend this particular item if you're planning to connect it to your TV. It should work fine in other applications where noise isn't going to interfere with the strip. Like I said, it works fine on a stable and clean powerbank connection with a USB port but it does not work as intended plugged into my TV. My TV is a Samsung, top of the line 80" unit and as mentioned, I've had a light strip previously installed that worked quite nicely for almost 4 years before it died, so I'm fairly certain the TV is just fine and that the problem is the lack of noise filtering on the LEDS. Once I receive the ferrite beads which arrive in a couple days, I'll update this review to mention whether or not the ferrites worked.
