Affordable replacement of waveguide cover
Frankly I did not know if I had to replace the waveguide cover when it was dirty. When I learned it, I checked my microwave, surely it was dirty and a little burnt. There are many other options here, however, sizewise, some of them are too small and too large. I also learned that those are actually like a piece of paper so I can cut them. This product was 4 pieces, and affordable so I chose them. I am totally satisfied at this product. It is large enough, and easily cut off. I took out the burnt one and just cut the new one to the same shape/size, and put the new one. Colorwise, a little bit different, but I guess it does not matter. After that, microwave is working well.

Great find!
Worked perfectly! Our microwave is 30+ years old and this cover fell off the other day. Of course, Amazon was the first place I looked and they had the covers - can always count on Amazon. My husband had to cut to the size of this opening, but it’s now in place and works great - thanks to Amazon and the manufacturer!

These are great if you have your old waveguider to trace for perfect fit
Highly recommend for adventurous DIYers. These generic parts are great, if you aren't afraid to trace your old part and make a new one. My microwave was sparking up, so I watched a how to fix video that told me I needed a new waveguide cover. Were they right! Years of use had cracked the wave guide in half. I looked online, but my microwave was so old, the part wasn't avaiable. These generic wave guides allow you to take out your part, trace in on the piece, then cut it out with scissors or a razor blade knife. It popped right into place, and my microwave is now working well.

Cheap, does the job and there are extras.
I can't believe these are a thing for microwaves. Never seen one with a 'mica' shield until we had to book a stay at an airbnb for about 5 months. The house has this little microwave that had a mica shield. It had seen better days and eventually fell off and broke. I used a piece of wax paper to mark the notches on the microwave that held the sheet in place and I just transferred the pattern on the mica sheet and cut it out and notched it where indicated and just slid the new one in place. It was cheap enough that I didn't mind eating the cost of the sheet and the owner now has extra mica sheets.
