Best cup / jockstraps
Best jockstrap + cup by far. Been using diamond mma cup and the jockstraps for years. It’s very comfortable as it doesn’t move, I took some questionable low blows. Worth the price you pay if you don’t want a thai steel cup

Jock that may be pricey, but works great
This is my review for the Diamond MMA Four-Strap Jock Strap Supporter with Built-in Athletic Cup Pocket for Sports. I use the Diamond MMA jock for Krav Maga where we regularly perform martial arts kicks and other stand-up fighting techniques as well as ground fighting. I've done other martial arts in the past without wearing a cup, but I wouldn't go without one the way we train for Krav. If you are working out in Krav Maga with a high level of intensity and a variety of partners, or sparring, you need a cup. There's just too many dynamic movements, or techniques where you target the groin area, to go without. My cup has definitely saved me a number of times. I work hard and I sweat allot. I'll admit when I first got a cup for Krav Maga I was worried it would be uncomfortable, might pinch or cause friction sores, or limit my mobility. The first time (ok the first few times) I used the Diamond MMA cup I admit I was briefly confused by the double sets of straps. It's only momentary though....they make sense and you quickly get used to them. I have really been impressed with the Diamond MMA cup. Their system of straps has always held the cup exactly where it needed to be. The way the cup itself is designed the edges are forgiving (a flexible material that holds its shape well) so that I've never felt the cup cutting into legs. And, when there's been "impact" the cup has been very effective, to the point at times when we are practicing a technique with a groin strike and you'd typically target the leg instead I've just been like "it's ok...I'm wearing a cup...hit me". I'd never offer myself up for a full-power rising front kick to the groin, but the cup has been completely effective for hand strikes or accidental glancing kicks. The cup hasn't effected my range of motion/mobility at all. And it's comfortable. I won't go so far as to say I can forget it's there entirely. I know it's there, but it doesn't restrict my movement and it's not uncomfortable. I frequently work out pretty hard for 2-3 hours and have no issues. And not to be repetitive, but it stays where it is supposed to, thanks I think to their strap design. I been using this cup for multiple workouts/week for over a year, and besides the little stick-on logo on the front of the cup coming off I can hardly tell it isn't new. Another thing, are you one of those people that has issues with elastic bands folding over, wrinkling, or getting stretched out over time? I am...but not with this jock. I swear the elastic waist band still feels like it's pretty much new. When I first went looking for a jock on Amazon there seemed to be a fair number of folks asking about or worried about the size of the cup. The cup, compared to other cups I have used, seems fairly good size in terms of volume. Let's address the elephant in the room...the price. I would not consider this jock and cup cheap. I was a little skeptical when I bought it, immediately thinking "this cup BETTER BE GOOD for that price". All I can say is, yeah, I feel like it has been that good.

Protect your tool.
Exactly what I expected. Amazing. Fits super well and is comfortable. I forget I even have it on until I get a stray kick to the n*ts.

Best supporter I have tried.
This is the best supporter for MMA type sports that I have found. It works best with Diamond MMA's own cup but greatly improves protection with the Shock Doctor Carbon Flex cup as well (much better than in combination with Shock Doctor's own supporter and compression shorts). The Diamond MMA four strap system seems to be key in holding the cups in place in all variety of positions and is fairly comfortable. While the cup Diamond MMA makes is not quite as comfortable as the Shock Doctor Carbon flex cup, the Shock Doctor Carbon flex cup, even in the Diamond supporter, still has some side to side flexing because of the softness and flexing of the edge compound. The edge compound of the Diamond cup does not flex easily and seems more stable and protective. For most purposes, other than a hard core MMA bout, the Shock Doctor Carbon flex cup would probably be fine. For maximum protection, the Diamond cup. Shock Doctor also makes a sturdier and much less flexible Titan Alloy Flex (steel) cup but it is much wider and heavier than their Carbon Flex cup and for me it was uncomfortable to do much moving around in. It also does not fit well in the Diamond supporter cup pouch. I've also tried the Nut Buddy cup in its supporter and compression shorts but it's wide and uncomfortable to move around in as well. I also have Diamond MMA's own 4 strap compression shorts but don't find them as comfortable as their plain old supporter - which seems to provide the same level of protection. I haven't tried the reportedly very stable/protective kickboxing style supporter and cup, largely because the strap goes right back up between your cheeks to secure the cup and it didn't sound very comfortable. I used to use the Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwan Do cup and supporter which stayed in place well, was comfortable and provided complete protection from a solid kick to the balls. But when its supporter disappeared I couldn't find a replacement anywhere and a common sports type supporter was too wide for the cup and didn't provide adequate support. (A normal sports cup and supporter is totally inadequate and dangerous in any sport where you are likely to be moving around and kicked). That old Jhoon Rhee cup fits well with the Diamond MMA supporter and compression shorts and is about as comfortable and nearly as stable as the Diamond MMA cup. All in all, this Diamond MMA supporter is well worth it.

Fits with the cup
Not super comfortable, but also not uncomfortable. It works as it should and did a great job keeping the accompanying cup in place.

Diamond JS.
Wasn’t sure why this product was more expensive compared to its competitors. Once it arrived I put it on and it was evident, designed to stay put and not allow any shifting. 1 less this thing to worry about. When asked I will recommend the Diamond.

I’ll tell you what, this is the most comfortable bit of armour I’ve ever worn over my berries. Over the years I’ve harboured a hearty hamper of hastily and horribly hesitated hammer hammocks which, simply put, cannot contend with my combat capabilities. Mixed martial arts makes it mandatory that you protect yourself at all times and that doesn’t just mean your top head if you know what I mean. Most supporters shift sideways and force you to surrender to the now slightly slanted support sling. However, this miraculous piece of hardware seems to morph into a molded member of your male anatomy within moments of putting it on. All joking aside, I have trained everything from kickboxing to JiuJitsu while wearing this wonderful piece of equipment. Not once has it compromised or exposed my most vulnerable items to my opponent even while wearing it over (tightly fitting) under britches; it is such a joy to not have to worry about that any longer. For all of you combat sports enthusiasts, I highly recommend this game changing piece of gear, although, I would wager that any man would value this no matter the sport in which they compete.

I use this for historical European martial arts (HEMA) and it has SAVED ME at least 3 times from errant sword blows to the crotch! The most recent being a longsword across the middle of the diamond cup. This holder in particular feels nice over my rash gaurd leggings and sits well.
