DAS Air-Hardening Modeling Clay, 2.2 Lb. Block, White Color (387500)

Really good clay! It is fun to use, it is really moldable, and has a nice consistency. I have used by itself and to smooth out 3D prints. It takes a long while to fully dry by itself as you’d expect with any clay, but it is nothing outrageous. As for 3D prints, I dilute it with water to form a paste, put it on the 3D print, and then sand it with sand paper. The paste dries very quickly and sticks well to PLA. Painting it also causes no issues.

I've worked with a variety of clays through the years. This is by far the easiest air dry clay I've worked with. It feels and works very much like natural clay that requires kiln firing to harden. The final product is much more fragile than regular clay so it's not really good for items that will require everyday use. Perfect for small sculptures or jewelry. Can paint with acrylic paints.

The clay is high-quality is very versatile. It is very soft to mold and rise without cracking. The clay can be painted or glazed easily. It dries in the amount of time stated. I would recommend this for teens or people looking to start a creative hobby.

I used this to attempt a custom MLP for a family members's birthday. I have never attempted anything like this before and was super nervous. The actual design of the mlp was not the best but this review is for the clay and the clay was probably the best part about the overall design. It dries quick without needing an oven and the when painted the colors showed up bright and saturated. I also got a TON of clay for the price. The clay is pretty cheap and cracked a bit here and there but I also had no idea what I was doing. This was really cool to attempt and I still think that (with no experience or research) this turned out well!

This is good quality and very functional air dry clay. It dries quickly which is great and it is easy to use. It isn't rough and it doesn't hurt your hands. My daughter loves crafting and this was a very good product.

This has been a lifesaver when needing an hour. I take this out when the kids need something to do and they play happily for over an hour which is a big win. I also used this to make Christmas decorations of hand and foot prints which were excellent. Took a while to dry but once it did, really great quality. Always have 1 on hand!

I moat recently used this clay to create first Christmas ornaments with hand/footprints. Working with the clay was easy and relatively quick to knead and roll into the desired shape. Great to have on hand for fun projects with kids. Air drying is certainly convenient and overall this was mess free - just wash up with warm water. First one came in with a small tear in the bag. Which made the clay around the year hard. Company immediately replaced the clay and now I am happy with this purchase as well as with the customer service.

I would NOT recommend this clay for young children, or anyone that is highly sensitive to strong smells. it's best to use in a well ventilated area as the smell is really strong, but it's not unbearable if you can handle strong smells. I found that my hands got really gunky with using water to keep the clay moist, and it was hard to get it all off my hands once I was done. This was my first time using air-dry clay, overall I am really happy with it. I noticed it started to dry as I was working with it, but adding a few droplets of water throughout the process seemed to help a lot. I used a very fine sand paper to smooth out imperfections once it dried (messy process, but it worked well). It took about 48hrs to dry, and after 48hrs the smell went away. I used acrylic paint once it dried and it worked really well. Thinner areas of the final product are pretty fragile, so be mindful of that when you are creating

I love using DAS clay for all of my crafting. I have made several jewelry dishes and it has been very easy to work with. This item arrived on time and is exactly as described by seller. The clay was very fresh and easy to handle. Highly recommend this item
