Well-made, excellent quality, love the lids but pans are a bit shallow
I've had several types of baking pans over the years, and these are the nicest ever. I wish I could give these 4 1/2 stars because they're almost perfect. The pans are excellent quality, heavier than I expected. They come with a lifetime warranty, but I doubt that anyone would need it. I bought a set of two, and I love that you can stack them and invert the lids on top for storage -- a very nice space-saving design. The lids are transparent, so you can see what's inside, and are raised, so they won't interfere with frosting. The lids snap on tightly (unlike some other pans I've owned) and are sturdy enough that you'll be able to place items on top to save space in the fridge or transport baked goods safely without worrying about an accident. If you take something to a potluck dinner, you can put the lid underneath the pan so it won't get lost or misplaced, a common problem with pot luck dinners.Stainless steel has several advantages over other materials. It's easy to care for (just be sure to dry it thoroughly) and cleans up beautifully. I believe stainless steel is also safer than other materials because you don't have to worry about aluminum (which is very reactive, especially with acidic foods) or non-stick coatings getting into your food.My only criticism of these 8" (20 cm) square pans is that they're a bit shallower than I would like and will hold less batter. (I can't say exactly how much less because I gave my old pans away in anticipation of getting these.) The sides are 2" (5 cm) tall as stated in the description, but that's if you measure the height on the outside of the pan. If you measure the depth on the inside where it matters, it's a little less than that. The sides of the pans are slanted a bit, and the bottom measures 7.5" (19 cm) across, unlike many 8" pans that are 8" on the bottom. As a result, the capacity of the pan is reduced. A standard 8" x 8" x 2" pan holds 6 cups of batter, but this one holds 5 1/2 cups (a scant 1/2" headroom). These small differences may not matter to everyone, but I'm concerned that some recipes I've been making for many years using my old 8" pans won't fit in these pans. Remember, you can't fill pans to the rim; you need to leave a little headroom. Deeper pans would give me a little more flexibility.Overall, I'm very happy with these pans, even if they're not quite perfect. I'm delighted to have pans with tightfitting lids, which will reduce my consumption of cling wrap and aluminum foil. For environmental reasons, I try to purchase quality items that will last a long time and not need to be replaced periodically. Eliminating single-use consumables and selecting products that last are small ways to reduce my environmental footprint.

Well made, easy to clean, sturdy
I did some math to find pans that would together hold as much as a typical 9x13 casserole pan. These two hold the same amount of batter if you want to use the full casserole or cake recipe. If you half the recipe it will fit fine into one of the pans. The kids are grown and gone, so I usually use a half recipe for myself and my husband and can bake one thing in one pan and a different thing in the other pan at the same so we have dinner and dessert.I have read concerns about the lids being too hard to get off. I like that they are tight and keep the cake or casserole fresh. I slide a spoon, back of the bowl of the spoon up, between the lid and the pan, then slide it toward the corner. Once the corner pops, its easy to get the lid off.The lids and pans stack well and take up almost no room in the cupboard.

Love them❣️
These pans arrived in pristine condition. The lids fit tightly and securely, and the pans are sturdy and without rough edges. As empty nesters, these are perfect for us. I’ve already used one of them for a small cake that we were able to eat before it became dry and unappetizing. Also, if making a cake from a box, these two pans can be used to make a small layer cake. I hope everyone who buys these pans will be as impressed as I was.

Its nice enough for the price.
These look nice but I had the shiny metal chipped or scratched in the first day. The marks are bery tiny though. I made bread pudding and the metal was damaged after heating to 375°. I don’t know if it just became discolored or what but its already looking like it leached or something i don’t know. I probably won’t get such a shiny metal next time. But its very easy to clean and nice to look at. The top plastic that goes on it is incredibly secure.

misleading
the "set of 2" contains only one pan, you are paying considerably extra for the flimsy plastic lid

Perfect for freezing waffles
The base is engraved as 18/0 stainless steel, nickel free. This is thicker and sturdier than other pans that I use for air fryers. It is solid and cannot be twisted by hand. The lid is sturdy too, making both of them easy to clean. There are two tabs on each side of the lid to lock onto the base, making them securely attached. This is the perfect size for my waffle maker so I use the pan to freeze the leftovers.

Good but pricey
The lid snap on tightly, there won't but be any spill when you stand it but it's so hard to open. The easiest way that I found to open it is, to hold it close to your body, pick a corner, use 3 fingers , middle finger on the corner, and other 2 on the place where the lid attaches to the pan, and pry it open if you know what I mean lol. You might have to pry another corner open to open the lid completely. If anyone has better idea, let me know.I wish the lid is metal so I can bake it with the lid on

Nice
I like the pan, and can use it in my toaster oven. I've not seen others with a cover like this. The cover will surely not last as long as the pan, but it's not bad. I wonder if the sell a replacement as it might wear out in a year or two. But the pan will last for many many years.
